Goodness no, I haven't even started writing yet!

And Windmill-- that's a really interesting idea, actually; my NaNovel last year was also based in Christia. :D (Totally different from what you had going, though, hehe.)

No excerpt posted yet at all. I don't know if I'll put one or not. It'll depend on if I find something in what I write that I'd really like as an excerpt or not.

I want to wait to post an excerpt. As mine is along the lines of Christian horror/mystery, it's just all characterization and setting the scene right now.

2041 words. That's a slow start for me, but I'll be fine.

no idea how many words i have! only the papers... no time to type the whole thing up. Could kind of guess as three A4 pages means around 1000 words and more (yeah, i've got terrible handwriting).

so i'd say something around 1000 and more for the day.

50,000 words in 30 days comes down to 1,667 a day, FYI. Write faster.

I did have 1,200 but I changed the plot and couldn't think of a new one until today.

I don't wanna write faster. :p

I'm at 3712 anyway. I don't need to write more today, but this is starting to get kind of interesting.

While we're at it, what's everyone writing about so far?

So far, my novel is a sort of Christian horror story. Bible stories are coming to life in really warped ways. I have people rising from the dead, bushes burning again, the Eucharist coming to life, all sorts of interesting stuff. It's interesting to see how this ties together with a Bible study I'm doing right now.

Knowing my writing, the story will probably be about flying pigs by the end.

The story can be anything. Usually fiction, but it can be based upon many things or few things. The rules are if you consider yourself writing a novel, then it's a novel.

I'm writing a post-apocalypse book. It's about three characters who chase each other across the desert. The plot is very complex and argentish, and I'm typing, so that's all you get to know.
