I'm writing a post-apocalypse book. It's about three characters who chase each other across the desert. The plot is very complex and argentish, and I'm typing, so that's all you get to know.

Does anyone go on the Nano site's forums? Ive found a lot of helpful programs (counters and novel writing software) as well as helpful suggestions for plot and realism. I recommend it .

I found a program called ywriter on there earlier today, and it really looks like it will fit the way I write (disjointedly) by pulling everything together on one screen so that I can see what I have and what I need. I love it!

Eh, I confess....I'm doing this mostly speedwriting. As for editing, I know all too well about March. The thing that makes me good at Nano and bad at editing is that I have no internal editor!

My inner muse is a total weirdo and freak, but it's there, so I'm writing strange, horrific stories. But my word count is now 12,304.
