i've thought about it since december but that doesn't mean anything i have a senior theses that will be due right about then and i rather not kill myself and my gpa.

I've thought about it and even thrown around a couple of story ideas that have been floating through my head...I have no idea what's going to happen come November, but I'll stay optimistic until then.

bah! plots are overrated

The characters will kill any plot you have and thoroughly twist your masterpiece into a crying shell of charred novelistic remnants anyway.

Trust me, they've done it to me three times so far.

Very true. Characters are like that. I usually just let mine run for the most part. They get around to what my vague main plot idea was eventually.

Besides, the plot comes from the adrenaline of having only one month to write a novel, right?

what is what? nanowrimo?

nanowrimo is national novel writing month. it's a challenge to see if you can write 50,000 words of an original work. nanowrimo takes place in november though sign-up begin in october on their website.
