• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My crush was Donny Osmund---hahahha! I remember in third grade we were to write to a celebrity---he was mine---but I never sent a letter---(chicken)

Never got to see anyone famous growing up!

What about the magnetic bead thing to make the faces....know what I am talking about?

What about silly putty (and the comics on Sunday morning) where you could put it on there and the image would be on the silly putty.....we always thought that was fun and to stretch it all out of proportion.

We had this thing in the playground at our elementary school that you would hang on to and run and you could swing up into the air. A bunch of us could get it going really fast and fly really high......THAT was fun (also dangerous--now that I think about it)!

remember the ball attached to the rope and it was hooked to the pole that you put in your yard,so many of my sisters got knocked out

Tether ball? I got a lot of rope burns playing that.

The Six Million Dollar Man -- My brother even had the action figure. There was a hole in the back of his head so you could look through the eye. Weird.

Yes, I remember slime......my kids still love it!

I had a doll head that you pushed a button and the hair would let out so it could be long or short. It also came with make up....it was so fun!

We actually have a drive in about an hour or so from us. It is like the only one around here that I know of. We were never allowed to go to movies growing up--but I always thought going to one would have been fun.

Barbies (did anyone ever have the ones that were like mini ones?)
