Loved sea monkeys---we had them I don't know how many times growing up!
We might have tried to get x-ray glasses--haha that is so funny to think about!

What about going to the corner store to buy penny candy!

I know what you are talking about....I never had them but had wanted some....but sorry don't know the name of them. Hate to say it but we called them "knockers"! We didn't know what else to call them!

In Oz they used to be called "click clacks", they were fun but really hurt sometimes.

Did anyone make their own stilts? we started with the tin cans and then wood to make them higher.

no,but I had a pogo stick, man if you didn't keep your balance just right, you could get hurt

I came on here to post "paper dolls." I loved them! I remember the year I had the measles. My mom bought a set of Snow White paper dolls and I played with them in the dark.

Remember Tony DeFranco and The DeFranco Family? Wow!!! I had such a crush on him. I went to several of their concerts at the John Wayne Theater at Knott's Berry Farm. I would sit in the audience and scream with all the other girls! ^_^

Oh, and the Brady Bunch Kids. I saw them a couple times at Knott's, too. Loved their polyester jumpsuits. :D
