Why not indeed? There is nothing salacious about reading a story to kids. Schools and libraries should be grateful for properly vetted volunteers to kid-friendly events, no matter their occupation.

Look, back in the day when Milton Berle or Jonathan Winters dressed up like a woman, it was for fun. These days, there is a lot of grooming going on with drag queens, transgender or the like. Responsible adults realize this and that is why we protest such happenings

Yes, I agree one should not defame another with lies. It is extremely sinful. However, I would still take the prison sentence because this drag queen reading to young children is more perverted in nature these days. So like I said in another post, years ago Milton Berle, Jonathan Winters, Flip Wilson did it for comedy and fun - it's a very thin line as to whether it's fun now or grooming and confusing children. I would error on the safe side and never allow it to happen with young children. If you want to allow this stuff for fun in high school, knock yourself out.

To show objection to the whole situation of allowing drag queens to read to young children. And to show others that this is a fight worth fighting because it's only going to get worse if society doesn't take a stand against this kind of obscenity.

Children are impressionable. They don't need to know about sexuality at that young age.

Let them decide when they are older.

IF it obeys library rules, I certainly don't care.
I understand that at least some of his events were not deemed eligible for library endorsement, but they could take place at libraries like other private events.
