  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My testimony- I grew up in my early years in a church with a un-godly pastor, my dad never went and we stopped going when I was about 6. Thats when me and my 2 bros. Started home-schooling. When I was 9 my family started falling apart and my mom and dad were about to split up until my mom had my little bro Addison and he just brought are family back together. We still havent been back to a church since I was 6 but God still watched over us. We lived in knoxville T.N. until I was 10. Thats when my mom decided to start a traveling job in radiolagy. Our first stop was auburn, AL and we lived there for about 6 months and then moved to morrisville, NC and thats where we lived the longest and we all made friends, but after about 2 years. We moved to Durham, NC and lived in a bad neighborhood, and lived there about 5 months and then moved to a different neighborhood and lived there about 5 months and then my mom decided to stop traveling and we moved back to Knoxville, TN and I loved that cause that has always been my home cause my whole family lived there, my cousins and grandparents. Well then mom decided to take a job in a small town called Somerset, KY in fall 2002 and she and my bros. moved there into a small apartment, but my Dad stayed in knoxville awhile cause he made mor money there. Well at around summer 2003 we moved out to nancy and we became friends with kids in the nieghborhood. I went on a trip to my Grandma's in Knoxville, TN and came back and was completly depressed and felt like life had no meaning. I dont really know now but I was probbly suicidal. well a couple weeks after that my brothers started going to a skatepark at Oak hill Baptist Church and they asked me to go and I said no the first couple of times cause I was never that social, but finally I said yes and I loved it. well I started going regulerly and my whole family started going to and I got saved. Well about summer 2004 I went to their camp called Lift camp and I surrendered to full time ministry. and the year after that I got assurance for my salvation. Well I think I didnt really take it seriously until I went to Dare2Share in 2006 and Thats were I first witnessed to someone and Thats when I started to grow with God. Well this year. About the beginning of summer I was going to visit my cousins in Knoxville, TN and God put it on my heart to witness to my cousin Corey, but I gave into fear and didnt do it. But thankfully my brother Austin invited him to Lift camp and he went and got saved. Well know I continue to grow with God and fell inlove to a college named Liberty U, I dont know if im going to go there for sure but plan on going to a bible college and become a minister. I am going to wait and see where God wants me 2 go and until then I will do as much as I can for him.
