The firmament in Psalm 19:1 is what we call second heaven.

You know it as outer space.

It is a containment area, populated by planets, moons, stars, etc.

No. The word is hā·rā·qî·a‘ from raqa, which means an invisible, constructed dome: the vault of heaven that holds back the waters.

Strong's Hebrew: 7549. רָקִ֫יעַ (raqia) -- an extended surface, expanse

But I'm sure the author of Psalms and his Hebrew words can take a hike.

But God can take this noun (age), and insert it into His creation.

And have it mean nothing.

God can make something last Thursday, declare it's 4.5 billion years old, and *POOF* it is so.

By extension, God can create something last Thursday, YOU can declare that He declared it is 4.5 billion years old, and *POOF* it is so.

Nothing -- I just think it's important to expose doubletalk for what it is, lest someone besides yourself gets the mistaken impression that you're talking theology.
