I have sown the seeds of what the true Gospel of Grace, body of Christ church is, that is pure and Spiritual. Only found in the 13 Epistles of Paul. It’s up to God now, if He deems to open the eyes of your heart, or not. I didn’t come back here to debate or argue, like most like to do. You can carry on in your fleshly churches, to your own demise, or like He did with me, He will show you that they are false.

Because most churches preach a lot from Jesus words in his first coming to Israel, in many bibles, they are even in red ink, it is always hard for many of their congregation to accept that Jesus was only sent to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

So no need to present your points in such a negative manner. Your job is to present them, but let others decide whether or not to accept or reject. Forum discussions will be more cordial this way, and you will enjoy them better as well.

He wasn't.
He spoke to, and healed, Samaritans, healed a Roman official's servant and the daughter of a Syrophoenician woman.

Are you saying that none of Jesus' teachings; his words about being the True Vine, the Way, the Truth and the Life, the Resurrection and the life etc etc are for us? How do any of us know what the Gospel is without the 4 accounts of Jesus' life, ministry and teaching?
The epistles make no sense without the Gospels. Why would Paul have founded churches in Greece, Italy, Asia and so on if the Gospel was only for the Jews?

I understand the appeal of using the Gospel of John, if you want to make Jesus say the same gospel as the one he gave Paul after he ascended into heaven.

But you do agree that, if Jesus spoke about the importance of keeping the Law of Moses in the book of Matthew to have life, which he did is several places such as Matthew 5, the lawyer who asked him about whose his neighbor etc, he cannot be saying something else in the book of John?

I do not have to make Jesus say anything.

And no, i do not agree there is anywhere in The Bible, where is it stated to receive God's free gift of Eternal Life is by keeping the law.

Luke 10:25-28

25 And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?

26 He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?

27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.

28 And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.

Yes, you don't have to make Jesus say anything, he said it clearly there.

Firstly, Matthew 15:24 was not a joke from him.

Samaritans are half Jews.

As for the 2 gentiles, they went thru the nation of Israel to get their blessing request fulfilled.

Never said it was.
Samaritans are half Jews.
Samaritans and Jews were enemies and would not associate with each other.

As for the 2 gentiles, they went thru the nation of Israel to get their blessing request fulfilled.
But they were still Gentiles - who were healed and helped by Jesus.
Jesus said that whoever believed in him would have eternal life, not whichever Jews believed in him. And also that he had come to give his life as a ransom for many - not just "many Jews".
Jesus prayed, on the cross, that the pagans who were crucifying him would be forgiven.

And I am convinced that when Jesus prayed it was granted.

Look at the verse you posted the rich young ruler is asking about rewards for a believer. That is why he ask what shall i do to inherit eternal life. Inheriting eternal life is the part of eternal life that requires good in The spirit works. A child in a family may receive an inheritance from his/her family (father/mother) but also if they act badly, they may be written out of the inheritance.

The same goes in the family of God, for God's children.

Why do you think Jesus said in the other version of the rich young ruler in Matthew
Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”

Having treasures in heaven is what this encounter with the rich rule is about. Not about what a person must do to receive God's free gift of Eternal Life salvation and become a born again child of God.

If you can be written out of eternal life thru your actions, why would you think its still a free gift?

You replied to my point here with "He wasn't."

So if you agree with me that Matthew 15:24 was not a joke, then you have to agree with me that Jesus was only sent to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Otherwise you are saying Jesus did not meant what he said in Matthew 15:24.

Make up your mind.

But they were still Gentiles - who were healed and helped by Jesus.

Before Paul, Gentiles who blessed Israel will be blessed by Israel's God, that has always been the case after the nation was formed, as promised to Jacob in Genesis 28:13-15.

The counterexample was seen in Deuteronomy 23:3-4.

The Roman Centurion build Israel a synagogue, and the leaders appealed to Jesus for him (Luke 7:5). As for the Canaanite lady, she acknowledged herself as a gentile puppy who could be blessed with the overflow blessings that the children of Israel were having in Jesus's first coming to them. (Mark 7:29).

Both cases, Israel was honored, and Jesus could therefore bless them because they blessed Israel.

The difference for us now, under Paul's gospel, is that gentiles are blessed thru the fall of Israel (Romans 11:11).

Born again children of God are not written out of the Life of God, they can lose their eternal life inheritance (rewards).

They can never lose their born again life.

What is the difference between eternal life and born again life, to you?

I can be born again and yet not have eternal life?

Born again has one aspect to it.
...Where as Eternal Life is received by belief in Jesus in a moment of time and that is how a person becomes born again.
..But the second part of eternal life is the rewards part of eternal life and requires a born again child of God to be an obedient child, which is carried out over a believers life time.

You can not be a obedient God serving child of God unless, a person has first by belief in Jesus received The Life of God.

Born again refers to when a person believes in Jesus their person/body occupied by a dead spirit.
Is now born again by a new spirit The Eternal Spirit of God that is why this is refereed to as being born again.
Because the one time dead spirit person is now made alive by the eternal Spirit of God.

I am actually asking you to explain the difference between the 2 terms.

To confirm what you mean here, you split the term "eternal life" into 2 parts.
  1. Eternal life, in its ordinary meaning, is as it says, life eternal, which every born again believer has, and cannot be lost.
  2. But the rewards part of eternal life is based on obedience to God's Law of Moses, as stated by Jesus in that Luke passage.
Is that the correct understanding of your point?

And you think this arbitrary split was what Jesus was really intending to say in that Luke passage (Luke 10:25-28)?

Yes but it is not obedience to The Law of Moses as it was for the Jewish rich ruler as he was under the Law at the time Jesus was addressing him.

I would say a starting law for believers now would be the Law of Christ.

Eternal Life is actually God, God is life. No one can have Eternal Life unless The Life of God resides in the person.

Born again is actually stating what happens to an unbeliever when they believe in Jesus, they are born again. They are born again because God Eternal Spirit comes and resides in them, bringing them out from death to life.
