Why dont you define science for us?
I asked for how you define science.

* Oh, Buddha *
Like you do?Obliquinaut said:If someone can listen to "Oh Buddha" and NOT come out on the other side as a Christian it would be a miracle!
Okay.Obliquinaut said:This is the best Christian artwork you could find? Really???
Hey, bro? is that J. D. Cannon? Why? You trolling me again?
Hey, bro? is that J. D. Cannon?
A wonderfully circular argument - "Every single believer believes therefore it must be true".1. Consensus of opinion.
- Every single believer ... past, present, and future ... believes IN THE BEGINNING, GOD. If consensus of opinion carries so much academic weight, then they should give this point a lot more consideration than they do.
Whatever believers may do to celebrate their particular god attests to a belief in that god. Belief in a god is not proof of its existence.2. Cause-and-Effect.
- Edifices, literature, holidays, songs, artwork, history and martyrs all attest to God's existence. If cause-and-effect carries so much academic weight, then they should give this point a lot more consideration than they do.
Short of calling you a liar ... which I will not do ... I'll simply ask you this:
Do you really believe that yourself?
If not ... okay if I don't, either?
And while you're mocking my evidence, how about you show me someone who was martyred for believing in and/or writing about Santa Claus?
Did I say it must be true?A wonderfully circular argument - "Every single believer believes therefore it must be true".
You mean like being martyred?Occams Barber said:Whatever believers may do to celebrate their particular god attests to a belief in that god.

I think of Satan as the great imitator.Occams Barber said:(think Yeti, Aliens, Astrology, Thor, Flat Earth Theory, Fairy and Goblin beliefs for valid comparisons)

That's nice.I'm not sure about people who Suffered for Santa but I know that Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer was given a pretty hard time ( they used to laugh and call him names)

1. The same argument applies to Muslims and hundreds of other religions and to children who believe in Santa and the tooth fairy. Just because a lot of people believe something does not mean it's true.
Everything we don’t understand, goddidit.
Just as it does the big bang and evolution?
At least creation makes logical sense, and speaking of Santa and the Tooth Fairy, the Poof theory/Big bang and shape shifting animals? not so much.![]()
Everything we don’t understand, goddidit.

Hmm... so atheists understand everything then? I think not.
No we don’t, no one does, not the most astute scientist or the local street sweeper, some atheists will think deeply about the universe and try to understand scientific theories, most will not. The only thing that unites all atheists is we don’t believe in any of the available gods. That’s it.
