I was going to say that but then I remembered that

As I have said many times before --- even if you could create a star NFL quarterback in a laboratory, I wouldn't believe we got here via evolution.

(Which, I suppose is fair enough, actually, since such an act would say nothing about evolution.)

Why should you - it has nothing to do with evolution. Just like your equally asisine "if human and chimp DNA are so similar, you should be able to artificially transform a chimp into a human" rhetoric.
