My Apple Challenge

The word is livyatan, Hebrew for "great fish". It was not a whale.

Livyatan is a giant fish which was created during the Six days of Creation. G-d created one male livyatan and one female, which never reproduced because He "castrated the male and killed the female and preserved it for the righteous in the future."

The Midrash describes the battle between the Shor Habar (Wild Ox) and the livyatan. The shor habor will batter the livyatan with its horns and rend it, and the livyatan will batter the shor habar with its fins and pierce through it.​

Your not God...none of us has the mind of God and none of us knows the ways of God, so we are not to make judgments for God that are God's to make.

I started this thread so I can QV to it regularly; and that's just what I plan to do, when I see people asking or demanding evidence of Creationism.

As I once said, this Apple Challenge came to me one night after I had prayed to God for a way to challenge-back those who were demanding evidence for His Creation.

There is no valid refutation in this thread (or any thread) of my Apple Challenge, that I know of.

I find it ... interesting ... that a thread that actually agrees with those who say there is no evidence for Creationism is challenged by those who ask for, demand, or outright claim there is no evidence for Creationism.

In short, it's on your side -- but you guys want to argue it.

What we believe and the images we hold while here on earth has nothing to do with the way we will think or what we will experience as one who has merged with eternity. Being merged with eternity, I would expect it to be pure experience of eternity. As soon as earthly images or mental concepts of God are introduces, eternity becomes non-eternity because it now has forms and mental images to contend with.

So we're both agreed that there is no evidence for Creationism. You started this thread to proudly provide references for that.

If indeed God did respond to your prayer and inspire you to post this inept challenge - then that is an obvious admission by God that no-one need to take any creation claims seriously.

Your 'Apple Challenge' is not a claim, it is as it says a challenge. It is a profoundly hypothetical and meaningless challenge to any empiricist, but you only think that it has meaning because you reject evidentialism. As I said earlier:

Yes, I do have faith into what Science discovers. It's pretty exciting. Science shows us what God's own Creation, signed off by God Himself, has to say about itself.

There is no reason why we Christians can not be corrected by science. Evolution and geology are wonderful windows into how God creates. Science does not take away from God's creative power that we are able to experience in any way, shape or form.

The bottom line, science does not take away our life in Jesus Christ, which is the bottom line and which is all that matters. Period!!
