I have been a fan of the New American Standard Bible since about 1974. It has consistently received high marks for accuracy on its adherence to the Nestle-Aland (N-A) Greek text. I also like the New King James, but that is based on a different manuscript family - Textus Receptus. So there are differences when comparing them.
As far as Messianic versions go - I like the Hebrew Names Version (HNV) of the World English Bible, (WEB) which is an update of the American Standard Version (ASV). It also has high marks for accuracy.
Another one that has received high marks for N-A accuracy is the new Tree of Life Version (TLV). It actually scores slightly higher than the NASB.
