The monastery is in Miami Florida. It was was built in 1133 and was occupied by Cistercian Monks for 700 years, but was brought over to America in 1925 by William Randolph Hearst. The monastery is now owned by St. Bernard de Clairvaux Episcopal Church.

If you guys are ever in Miami try to visit the monastery. It is such a peaceful place right in the middle of a urban area.

Lovely pics! I agree with everyone...the picture of the path is great. Just scrolling down that post of pics made me think they should be in a travel monologue or history pages. The pictures tell a story of sorts. And of course...they make you want to go there.
