  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Our daughter used to get them a lot and she’d get very sick from them.
My husband actually had surgery to try to deflect them. He had a deviated septum. It’s helped a bit but he still deals with them. It seems to run in his family.

Our daughter had her tonsils and adnoids out then years later she had surgery on her nose for sleep apnea. She still gets sick, but I haven’t heard her say anything about sinus infections lately.

Do you have access to a Nebuliser? If you can get hold of one, put a mix of saline solution and 3% Hydrogen Peroxide and inhale that using the Nebuliser a few times each day. The saline solution, which is sterile salt water, helps dry up mucus and the Hydrogen Peroxide kills virii and bacteria through oxidising. The good thing about Hydrogen Peroxide is that when it gives up the oxygen atom, it becomes water.

Do you have allergies? Our daughters sinus infections were part of her severe allergies but you can get them without that.
I don't think I have allergies.

I don't have access to one but it's a good idea.

Yes. I remember when I got a sinus infection one year I was coughing nonstop. No fun.
They can be very drastic and make you very ill. My husband and sister in law struggles with them yearly.

We bought a cheap one during Covid. Didn't actually need to use it then but I've used it a few times since.
