Modern day systemic racism, does it exist?

There are fewer racist doctors than racist cops because of both the nature of the job and the oversight required. That being said there is systemic racism in healthcare that causes disparities in health outcomes.

Oh you know this how? Where is your evidence?

There is no systemic racism in healthcare. There is a wealth disparity in healthcare. If people are not getting the care they need it's due to cost access and not racial access. The health care system doesn't deal in disparity due to race.

You are doing what far too many do. Look at disparity and immediately attribute it to race. Cause that's your world view. However facts do not support your conclusion.

Even if you hold that all issues are class issues redlining caused a lot of those class issues.

Well that's because we now have to look at everything through a racist lens. I'm sure the diamond painting I'm currently working on right now is also somehow racist. It's called "Black and White" and you know for sure that it must be racist simply by that name alone, the fact that it portrays the head of a black horse in the snow notwithstanding. Yep, racist. :)

So you agree that the justice system favors the rich. Race is just a layer on top of that.
I don't care about the rich guy. If I wanted to be him and have his money I would earn my own.

What bias and stereotypes?

That blacks are "thugs" and therefor shouldn't get a chance whereas a white person might come from a "good family" and "has a future". That sort of thing.

No I don't agree. Sure they have good lawyers but we have the law on our side, unless you are a criminal.

Having a good lawyer greatly affects your outcome. Not having a lawyer also greatly affects your outcome, despite the promise of the Gideon case most people who require a public defender are compelled to do a plea deal as they have no chance to win the trial, regardless of their guilt.

That effects the poor, its not an example of systemic racism

Whites are victims of bias too.

When it can be sincerely stated that a rich white man and a poor black man were both treated fairly.

Now you're talking about class (or, really, money). You're not going to fix it by calling it systemic racism. That won't get poor whites to see it as a class issue and become your allies.

Better oversight and transparency in policies mostly.

What does that mean? Give me some examples.

Redlining caused a lot of those class issues, but redlining has been fixed. Now we have to deal with the class issues as class issues.

They are like all people. They are all different. Some good some not so good.

And sometimes the not so good ones group up and get rid of the good ones and commit crimes together. Remember the rampart scandal and the Compton police department that was so corrupt it was disbanded.
