Ah yes... X-Box!! It rocks! haha i spent 3 hours on the x-box yesterday *because i was sick* and i totally beat the Lord of the Rings- The Two Towers Game..!! FINALLY!! haha

Those of you in the Kansas City area, go check out the International House of Prayer near Grandview. They have 24-7 prayer and worship thats been going on for 5 years straight now. Every wed-sat night they have an Encounter God Service which consists of an hour and a half of awesome worship, which is led by Julie Meyers, Todd Gonavski, or another of their highly annointed and talented worship leaders. Then there is teaching by either Mike Bickle or Allen Hood, or another member of their staff. Or you can just got to one of the intercession sessions, or a devotional set. Its really a great place to just wait before the feet of Jesus in prayer and worship.

Anyone else's church in the area involved in the 40 Days of Purpose study coming up in October/November? I don't remember the exact dates.

Cool!! Nice to meet somone else from the area. We are on our way to being built!!!!!!! We have I think 50-75% of the roof on (finally!!!!), and a lot of the inner structure of the walls, and some concrete poured. We are *supposed* to be in there by Christmas. I am excited!! I don't really like meeting in the school as much. The folding chairs are kind of a bummer. Also, we have really flimsy chairs now because someone stole our trailer with our larger folding chairs. But God has taken care of us for sure. Do you know anyone that goes to my church?

No, I'm sorry that I don't know anyone who does go to your church. I have watched it grow bigger and bigger (based on the parking on Sundays before you moved) so you guys must be doing something right. My husband's friend who we bought our house from, she went to your church for a short time, and for a while we were getting mailings, but that was, like 7-8 years ago when she went there.

I can't believe your chairs were stolen. Some people...

We went through a church building just a few years ago. Bethesda Nursing Home bought our property and allowed us to continue to have services there until our new church was built, so we didn't have to go through that. I'm sorry that's yucky for you right now.

Praying that your church is built quickly, and you can enjoy your services there soon.

I know someone that goes to Faith, she is actually a cousin. Her name is Caroline. We are not really close, but I know she goes there. We got a new pastor two years ago, and he is awesome. I started going there when I was young. The first service I attended was before the big sanctuary was even built. We have grown a lot!!!!!

I live in Sedalia. Preachin&Singin is my husband. I've heard of the Good News Garage Band!

I saw President Bush in Sedalia on Tuesday. When it was over, he was shaking hands and signing autographs, and I was literally inches away from him. It was definitely one of my favorite experiences of all time. Very special.

I need to hear if and when Good News Garage Band is performing again. I need to spread the word on them! They're a great southern blues rock band. By the way, there's a free street concert here in Warrensburg on October 16th, in the Baptist Student Union's parking lot. It's from 3-10:00. GNGB knows at least two of the bands performing: Inner Flame and Empty Tomb. They played together last year during the State Fair in Goody Steakburger's parking lot. I want to go into more detail, but won't, for now. Suffice it to say, I loved the concert, and made lots of new friends.
