Those plus a read of Rev, Cor, 1Peter and others It really looks that Kind David is the King on earth during the Millennium and Christians are ruling with David over the nations with David as king

I hadn't really thought much about who it would be for quite some time , but recalling a short video I seen some time ago showing the New Jerusalem coming down from heaven and it stayed above the earth in the sky but still able to be seen from the ground and that is where Jesus was , but a king was on the earth and the saints rule over nations and cities , so I thought about this when reading scriptures and could see how that could be a reality

Ok. I don`t think it can be King David of Old, for he is one of the `spirits of just/righteous men` (& women) of the OT who are in the General Assembly at the moment and awaiting the promised city to come down to its place above the earth, (the New Jerusalem).

`...to the General Assembly and church of the first-born who are registered in heaven, to God the judge of all, to the SPIRITS OF JUST MEN MADE PERFECT.` (Heb. 12: 23)

They are the ones in Heb. 11 who looked for a city whose builder and maker is God. (Heb. 11: 10) Note that the Body of Christ, (church of the first-born) are registered in heaven, whereas these OT saints have been promised the city which will come down out of heaven. Two different rulerships.

King David is mentioned in Heb. 11: 32 - `...also of David and Samuel and the prophets...`

When was this prophecy fulfilled on earth ?..... cause it certainly does not refer to the eternal state.

'... and they shall bring thy sons in their arms; and thy daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders. And kings shall be thy nursing fathers, and queens thy nursing mothers; they shall bow down to thee with their faces toward the earth, and shall lick up the dust of thy feet, and thou shalt know that I am the Lord; for they shall not be ashamed who wait for me' (Isaiah 49:22 - 23)

Every sabbath and new moon the others go and look at them and worship the LORD.
It seems that the lake of fire kills the body of the wicked people, but not their soul. Just like now -souls live in fire torment of hell. The body though must one day be judged for its sins and punished.

The wicked have eternal souls as does every human and the wicked are aware of the fire that burns eternally forever that in which the wicked are thrown into , the fire burns forever never goes out and those in the lake of fire remain aware of their torment , the wicked are raised to life to face the Great White Throne judgment then are cast into the lake of fire , read the bible 'it's in there'

I think it is only the soul part of the wicked that will be tormented forever. The Christians are promised that their bodies and souls will live forever. That is what is eternal life - this vile shall put on immortality. Souls are still alive as in either in heaven or hell right now. Jesus Christ will bring the sleeping saints with Him at His return from heaven. This is the time of the resurrection to life. The soul is put back into a body that will live forever, but the soul itself did not die first.

Ecclesiastes 9:5
For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.
Matthew 10:28
And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

What souls does GOD destroy the rightous or the wicked.

Please show me a bible verse that says without the breath of live the soul liveth.

The dead know nothing means the dead body knows nothing as the souls/spirit has left from the dead body
for the memory of them is forgotten. -the wicked are forgotten , the righteous who live forever have no memory of the wicked
