Well I feel stupid. I feel lied to and deceived. Why would anyone lie about Christianity? Or use it to fool others? Modern Chrisitianity is not about using manipulation to coerce large segments of the population into accepting pre-determined morality. It's also not about planting seeds of fear in order to control said population. It's about Jesus' love. And if you don't believe it you will burn in hell for eternity.

And Thank you for the kind words. I have struggled a great deal with religion and probably always will (analytical mind) but I truly respect Christians. I think having a belief that is stronger than even your own self shows strength not weakness like many want to think. I also wanted to take away from the people who came here to post just because of Maynard and to be sarcastic about the beliefs of Christianity. I have studied a great deal in all religions that I can find information on, Buddhism, Christianity, Wicca/Paganism, Muslim, etc... I can tell you that I can pick apart any and all of the religions but I think that defeats the purpose of having faith. Which I do have. I would like to sometime discuss some of these beliefs that I have concocted in my aforementioned analytical mind. I'm an absolute, "newbie" to forums. I think a few years ago, I posted on a message board on AOL but that was it. My schedule is very hectic but when I am writing for a website, I take breaks and like to browse around on the internet. I have no idea how to get to another topic or if there are topics that pertain to feelings on Heaven/Hell, Narrow Path and so on. Since this is in the music section, are there any Iron Maiden fans? I know I seen someone had a picture of Bruce Dickinson on their post. If you haven't heard Bruce has a new solo cd coming out May 26th of this year. I'm a life-long Maiden fan so it was great news to me. Again, thank you for the kind words.

TheTruthinFiction, i'd also be willing to answer questions you have, from a christian standpoint, on heaven/hell. just keep in mind, as you search out the truth that internet forums, even christian ones, are full of people who can be jerks. People often say things online that they wouldn't in real life because they can hide behind their computer.

Well since im cold right now alittle heat sounds good, but i dont beleive in hell so it dont really matter to me. What a good scare tactic, beleive or burn in hell. Kinda like and abusive relationship, u scare them into loving u or tell them ur gonna hurt them if u dont!!

Read wat i said again buddy. I didnt say the freak boy was threatening anyone. I just said that christianity and most other religions are like an abusive relationship. If you do do exactly what they (god) says to do, u are punished. They threaten you into being good. Personalliy id rather burn in hell then worry constantly about the almighty being mad at me cause im not doing ecatly wat he wants.

Actually, there is certain religion called Christianity which actually tells us that God doesn't expect us to be perfect, and will forgive us for everything we do. They talk about this guy that walked around named Jesus who actually did go around forgiving people, turning the other cheek when people slapped him and other such nonsense. Told people to love each other.

I've even heard that some of the more liberal Christians actually believe this.
