First I would like to thank the ones who were talking about PM's and such. I appreciate it and will try to stop by here as much as possible. I also appreciate the attitudes of most of the people on these forum. I do have to ask this person, Roo6339, what did I do for you to doubt me? I'm not Maynard nor do I have a direct line to him. What I do have is a friendship with Danny Carey and if you look into the prank, Danny did not know it was a prank at first but in one of my earlier posts I posted that I spoke with Danny and he laughed which put me on guard that is was a prank. Another thing is don't doubt people who say they know someone famous. Remember, they were normal people before they were famous. It was almost as if you had to have something positive to come from this and it was that you were right. Well, you can be right if you want but I think you will see that I even started to doubt it before the truth came out. Moving on, I know I mentioned the new Meshuggah album on one of my other posts. It has got a little better with more listens. I just don't think they can touch Mastodon. Another advance copy, maybe it's not advance in the UK, not for sure but I received the new Bruce Dickinson solo advance, Tyranny of Souls. I was ready for this, couldn't wait and it is an incredible piece of music but it is slooooow, very acoustic album but it's still good, just not Chemical Wedding or Accident at Birth. I just wanted to let you all know that I didn't run off and hide or nothing like that and Roo, like I told someone else on here, relax. Being right or wrong means nothing. Much bigger picture out there. I've been offline for about a week and been working on an album of my own. The Truth in Fiction is the name of the band. I just wondered how many people thought that was a hint that I was on here just for the Tool hoax. I'm not looking for pity or anything like that but just to let you know a little about me. A few years ago, after dropping out of college for the third time, I was struck with a rare blood disorder that paralyzed me from the waist down. At one time, 8-9 years ago, I was an All-Conference college football player who played against guys like Randy Moss, Chad Pennington, Terrell Owens, we were a Div II school but still it shows how people can now famous people. For a year, I had to fight for every step I took, refusing a wheelchair, refusing braces for my arms. I am a big guy, 6 foot 230 pounds so braces just didn't seem like an option. I fought daily, never in my life had I prayed. One day after falling for the 7th time trying to get down the steps to feed my dog, I prayed. It wasn't long after that my circulation improved and now I am walking fine but will always have slight tingle and numbness in my feet. So sometimes I do expect others to believe what I say. Because I know how hard that time in my life was. It also showed me how petty it is to try and prove who is wrong or right, just live. Roo, you have Maynard fan on your posts. Maynard is probably so far different than you expect that you wouldn't believe it. His kid tells him what to wear at each show. That is how he ends up in women's clothing but people take that wrong. He does it for his kid. This really should be addressed at everyone. In the Tool song, Eulogy, when he says, "Would you lay down and die for me". He is questioning Christians. He is not talking to his fans. Notice in that song that he says, "Why then, are you so surprised to read your own eulogy". He is talking about Christians who say they live their life for Jesus but then they question why they are dying. This wasn't even a joke in the prank towards Jesus. So many have ran with that quote about, "He is a punk". He is talking about the drunk who claimed to be Jesus, not Jesus. I think back to a Black Sabbath song, After Forever, I think was the name. Where Ozzy says, "Would you like to see the Pope on the end of a rope" and people freaked out. They didn't even listen to the rest of the song where he says, "God is the only way to love". There are too many geniuses in this world who seem to know everything, when intelligence is really the realization that you know nothing. I guess my biggest concern when I first posted on this forum was seeing that Christians are no different from anyone else. They question everything you say, don't believe you but overall I think most people here believe me, except Roo. I'm going to give a little life Philosophy that I believe in. Believe in people, take their word as the truth. If they lie to you and hurt you, stop right there, if they lie to you it shouldn't hurt you because they were not a friend to begin with. Keep your emotions balanced, never too happy, never too sad. Appreciate life, everything about it, the good times, the bad times. It all evens out eventually. With my story above about the injury, messing up any chance I had at a shot a pro football (failed a drug test after taking Ultimate Orange supplement bought at GNC and lost my scholarship). I still can smile, for one thing, I am alive. For another, while sulking about losing my scholarship (Could have wrote a Staind song, HA), I met the woman who is now my wife and the mother of my kids. There is so much more out there than being right or wrong, or being smarter than someone. Trust me, I have seen both sides of life and prefer the one that most would call nieve than walking around questioning everything and being paranoid. I will end this by saying everyone on here that is a Christian in their heart, not because of what they have been taught, you have my utmost respect. I've still not been able to answer some questions that I have about Christianity to be able to call myself a Christian. I won't do it until I feel it. My wife is a Christian, her and our kids go to church, they read Bible stories for children, but even so I am still on the outside (Had to get a Staind lyric in there, HA). I could say yeah I'm a Christian and go to church with them but I would be doing it wrong. As for the questions that I talked about. I have a good friend who is an ordained minister, married my wife and I, baptized our children so I ask him this question. He looks at me, shakes his head and says, "That has often troubled me as well". I would be glad to post it if I knew no one would get offended and I knew what area to post it in. It's just a question about Heaven/Hell. Thanks and Roo, you should believe me. I have no reason to lie here. Thanks everybodyRoo6339 said:from their site...

Roo, I didn't want my post to be looked at as angry or anything like that. We will drop that and move on, ok *handshake*. Alright, some music will be up in the next 3-4 weeks. I wanted to try and get Gene Hoglan of SYL and DTB to come in with us on a few tracks and was hoping to get Devin to help with production, not working as of right now. If you know anything about Devin, you know he is a bigger mess than Maynard is, he is always into something. I would describe the music as a little of Tool, a little of DTB and a lot of experimentation. I had never laid a vocal track down until last week, Maynard has nothing to worry about with competition from me but it was better than expected. We are playing some of the songs in 7/4 and I'm finding the same problems Devin has had himself, there just are not that many talented musicians around. With my past connections to Century Media, I can call up most anyone on their label and get them to stop by a studio, lay down some riffs and then have the master disc mailed to me but I don't want to sound like Meshuggah and that is the style that I keep getting. Even myself as a drummer for almost 20 years, am still willing to pull Gene in because I can't even play some of the things I want on this cd. Nevertheless, we are back in the studio this weekend and hoping to be finished by next weekend, then I will get a domain name and site and post some samples. I will keep you posted and post the url when it is up and thanks for explaining the misunderstanding.Roo6339 said:I apologise for my remark, it was a tough day and hearing this was a prank was the cherry on top... so to speak... i don't have anything against you and i was out of line for my remark.
