Reminds me of an office mate story about how one time he was staying with a mutual friend while up north. Apparently it was midnight and he was craving a midnight snack. So he finds these Ol' Roy treats on the counter and grabs one for a snack. Apparently they were quite memorably disgusting.

Unfortunately for me, a few weeks ago I was at Walmart and the lady in front of me had a huge box of Ol' Roy dog treats on the conveyor belt and I was laughing uproariously at what appeared to be nothing. How could I explain?

well, I don't have much planned for this weekend right now. I'll probably get out dancing Friday night. Will go to my men's group Sat. morning. Might get down to see my grand daughter Sunday afternoon if my sons around.

Next weekend I'm going to a Ignite Man workshop. Don't know much about it. But heading to NYC with my friend. Then the next weekend I have a Ball to go to.

Well I just got my permanent retainers on so I don't have to wear stupid plastic retainers anymore. My teeth aren't as straight as they were when I first got my braces off, but it is what it is....

This weekend is Superbowl Sunday and my son invited some of his friends over so I guess I am hosting a Superbowl party! I really really hope Seattle wins Go HAWKS!

tonight I am having dinner with my friend that has cancer. She gets to forego chemo for awhile so that's great news. Her husband had a mini stroke the other day and was hospitalized but he got out rather quickly. He apparently had a clot on the left side of his brain so now he will do aspirin therapy. Friday night I get to see my SIL for our once a month visit. I am always excited to see her and I love that we have kept this up for a long time now, same as my friend with cancer. We have been having dinner once a week or every other week on chemo rounds since 2010! WOW! I love friends like that!

B was in town from Canada again. It was even nicer since it was a long weekend.

We went to a Ball on Sat. night. She meet quiet a few of my friends. We danced the night away and had a very expensive breakfast at the Hotel the next morning. Then a walk around a small pond in the snow on Sunday afternoon. Monday we went into Boston, Faniel Hall area a nice seafood lunch, looked thru a lot of shops and was headed for a walk on the water but the wind was way too cold to walk the water front in Boston.
I'll not see her for 8 weeks now.

sounds like a nice time, but isn't this the gal that wants you to marry her? Does she think she will change your mind eventually?

yes, that is the lady that wants to marry me. She says she still would. Neither of us ofcourse know where we will be in the future. Right now we are just enjoying our love for each other. I personally don't see myself getting married again.
