και ει η δεξια σου χειρ σκανδαλιζει σε
εκκοψον αυτην και βαλε απο σου
συμφερει γαρ σοι ινα αποληται εν των μελων σου
και μη ολον το σωμα σου βληθη εις γεενναν

And if the right your hand traps you

And if your right hand traps you
cut it off and throw it from you,

γέενναν, γέεννα:
Of Hebrew origin (gay' and Hinnom); valley of (the son of) Hinnom; ge-henna (or Ge-Hinnom), a valley of Jerusalem, used (figuratively) as a name for the place (or state) of everlasting punishment -- hell.

ερρεθη δε οτι ος αν απολυση την γυναικα αυτου δοτω αυτη αποστασιον

It has been said that whoever would release his wife must give her a divorce certificate,

that whoever would separate the wife his
except word-reason sexual-immorality
makes her commit-adultery

marries-her commits adultery

And whoever marries her, if she has been put aside,

ουκ επιορκησεις
αποδωσεις δε τω κυριω τους ορκους σου

Again you-have-heard that said the ancients
not upon-vow
give-to but the lord the vows you

Again, you have heard that the ancients said,
"don't make a vow,
but give your vows to your lord,"

Again, you have heard that the ancients said,
"don't commit perjury,
your vows are given to your lord,"

ἐπιορκήσεις, ἐπιορκέω: perjure, swear falsely
From epiorkos; to commit perjury -- forswear self.
ἐπίορκος: perjurer
From epi and horkos; on oath, i.e. (falsely) a forswearer -- perjured person.

μητε εν τω ουρανω
οτι θρονος εστιν του θεου

μητε εν τη κεφαλη σου ομοσης
οτι ου δυνασαι μιαν τριχα
λευκην η μελαιναν ποιησαι

eye for eye
and tooth for tooth

You all have heard that it was said,
"eye for eye

μη αντιστηναι τω πονηρω
αλλ οστις σε ραπισει επι την δεξιαν [σου] σιαγονα στρεψον αυτω και την αλλην

I however I-tell you-all
don't oppose the evil
but whoever you strikes on the right your jaw
turn him also the other

However, I am telling all of you,
don't oppose the evildoer
but whoever strikes you on the right side of your jaw,
turn to him the other side also.

σιαγόνα: cheek.

και τω θελοντι σοι κριθηναι
και τον χιτωνα σου λαβειν
αφες αυτω και το ιματιον

and the desiring you sue
and the coat your take
give him also the garment

And if someone desires to sue you
and take your coat,
also give him your clothing.

καὶ ὅστις σε ἀγγαρεύσει μίλιον ἕν
ὕπαγε μετ' αὐτοῦ δύο

and anyone you he-drafts mile one
go with him two.

And if anyone drafts you to go one mile,
go two miles with him.

ἀγγαρεύσει, ἀγγαρεύω:
Of foreign origin (compare 'iggra'); properly, to be a courier, i.e. (by implication) to press into public service -- compel (to go).

Of Latin origin; a thousand paces, i.e. A "mile"

τω αιτουντι σε διδου
και τον θελοντα απο σου δανεισασθαι
μη αποστραφης

The asking you give
and the desiring from you borrow
don't turn from

Give to the person asking of you
and the person wishing to borrow from you,
don't turn away from him.

δανείσασθαι:
From daneion; to loan on interest; reflexively, to borrow -- borrow, lend.

love those enemies your
bless those curse you
good do those which-hate you
and pray for the mistreat you and persecute you

But I am telling you,
love your enemies,
bless those who curse you,
do good to those who hate you,
and pray for those who mistreat and persecute you.

Matthew 5:45

οπως γενησθε υιοι του πατρος υμων του εν [τοις] ουρανοις
οτι τον ηλιον αυτου ανατελλει επι πονηρους και αγαθους
και βρεχει επι δικαιους και αδικους

So become sons the father your the in the heavens
that the sun his he-makes-rise upon evil-doers and good-doers
and rains upon just-people and unjust-people

So become Sons of your Father in the heavens,
that He makes the sun rise upon the evil and the good,
and rains upon the just and the unjust.

εαν γαρ αγαπησητε τους αγαπωντας υμας
τινα μισθον εχετε
ουχι και οι τελωναι το αυτο ποιουσιν

if for you-love those they-love you
what wage-reward you-have
not also the tax-collectors the same they-do

For if you love those who love you,
what reward do you have?
Do not the tax collectors do the same?

Matthew 5:47

και εαν ασπασησθε τους φιλους υμων μονον
τι περισσον ποιειτε
ουχι και οι τελωναι ουτως ποιουσιν

and if you-greet the friends your only
what more are-you-doing
not also the tax-man so they-do

And if you only greet your friends,
what more are you doing?
Doesn't the tax-man also do this?

UBS4 has ἀδελφοὺς (brothers) for φίλους and ἐθνικοὶ (gentiles) for τελῶναι.

TR has ἀδελφοὺς and τελῶναι.

Matthew 5:48

εσεσθε ουν υμεις τελειοι
ωσπερ ο πατηρ υμων ο εν τοις ουρανοις τελειος εστιν

you-will-be then plural-you complete
as the Father your the in the heavens complete is

Then you will be complete,
as your Father in the heavens is complete.

τέλειοι,τέλειός:
complete, perfect, mature
