Say your son, or your daughters boyfriend is sexually charged.... like males get when their seminal vesicle is full,... so... they touch so that they do not fall to temptation when they are with their girlfriend or your daughter... Is it a sin? Or... is it relief from a tension that would lead to sin?

Or your daughter or the son's gf: same thing.

IMO it is a loving option to lower the stress level that could take over and end up with them doing more than they wanted. Many couples end up in bed together and have almost no recollection of what happened and how they got there. At some point the hormones just took over the thought process.

I believe in the day and time in which we live we must be careful not to sicken the stomach of God....

I believe that masturbation is a sin, based on what masturbation is of itself and what it is your trying too accomplish with the activity of it...It is purely a self and flesh serving activity...You do not touch for any other reason than too satisfy a fleshly desire...And for those of us who are 100% believers of the Living Word of God, we should abstain from any activity that merely serves that pleasure of our flesh...We are told several times in the scriptures that our fleshly desires are too be abstained from...That we ourselves cannot do anything to overcome these fleshly desires and we must give ourselves over to the Lord with all of our faith, in believing that ONLY HE can deliver us from such desires...If we ourselves could overcome them, than this would not even be a topic, as with many, many other desires, we must rely on the Father, He can deliver us from anything...Masturbation equals only a self serving activity, and sex was created and meant to be only shared with a spouse, thus this is 100% a sin in my humble opinion...

How could Christ have had sex and been sinless? He was never married.... therefore, if He ever had sex.... He would have sinned.

I don't know and the bible never mentions if He masturbated.... I do know that He never sinned. I do know that He never married... So, He never had intercourse....

Jesus never lusted either. He did say in Matt 19:
Matthew 19:12 (KJV) For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.
What he's saying is that those who can handle it (probably very few of us) can live a life of celibacy if we are able to handle it. Paul (who apparently stayed single while in ministry although he did say that an elder or apostle could marry, 1 Cor 9:5) says to us that it is better to marry than to burn in hell (due presumably for lust) in 1 Cor 7:8-9.

I don't know if there is such a thing as not using others in some form when one engages in sexual activity even when one is alone at the time. There may be no physical presence but there is some kind of presence of another person. Though I have never experienced such a thing, I cannot say that people do not find sexual attraction by considering their own selves( a narcissist perhaps would be able to ) but I doubt that is the norm when people satisfy themselves. Using the thought of another person to gratify oneself without their permission may in some sense be a mental sexual assault on that person. Certainly it is using another person to satisfy one's own sexual desires without their permission and without their knowledge.

Well on the pilates I think perhaps they may have a point. It also assumes that we can do what Jesus did. How many of those asking that question have cured lepers or raised the dead?

It would be sharing a totally self serving activity with a partner...But still, only accomplishing serving a fleshly desire for your own gain, as your partner gains nothing by your activity or vice versa....Again, this is merely my opinion, and in no way is my reply anything other than my personal opinion....

Trust me. I once had a spiritual life but I deliberately sinned it away because I kept finding ways to justify my sins. As long as you have conviction from the Holy Spirit, treasure it and listen to Him.

And sex with self is still sex thus still fornication and forbidden.
