What's mastabating? The same as masturbating?
Or is there something else involved?

I don't really think it's possible to stop it unless you marry and get your action there. Otherwise trying to stop masturbation might only increase the temptation
and then lead to watching porn + masturbating on top of it so before I'm tempted to watch porn I'd rather let off some pressure by masturbating.

No, it is not. If it were it would be explicitly outlawed by the Bible. Instead the Bible bans only lustful thoughts and actions. Even for women, masturbation can occur without such thoughts, as a purely physical release. Men need this regularly for physical reasons; women can also become physically "pent up," especially if they are leaving behind premarital sex or if they are engaged and anticipating marital sex in the near future.

What if there was no word for masturbation back in biblical times or what if the people back then hadn't yet invented mastubation? Maybe none of them had ever come to the idea of doing it.
For me it's always like if I try to become free from it then I think what if it's allowed and I struggle all for nothing and then when I do it I feel miserable again and think I'm such a pathetic loser and wish I wouldn't do it. You gotta love being a christian...

The Old Testament's ritual purity laws make a distinction between a man who has just had sex and a man who has just had an "emission" (Hebrew word that refers to [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse]) by some other means; that is, both were ritually unclean until they were cleansed, but by different means. So the OT definitely contemplates men [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse] by non-sexual means.

Then again, masturbation was not a particularly salient issue at a time when people got married soon after puberty: by the time the physical need existed, so did an acceptable means for dealing with it. Our culture is outright cruel in that regard.

Do you think Paul masturbated cause he had no wife? If masturbation is allowed then Paul should have done it, too. But I find it hard to imagine that he did. What if God simply wants those who don't get married to struggle with it because that's simply a part of our miserable lives? I mean if life didn't suck then it would be too good to be true.

Paul may have had a low sex drive, so it was never a struggle for him. He also may have been so busy with the affairs of his ministry, he simply didn't have surplus energy.

You can also touch when you're depressed or bored not just because of having a high libido.
