You do not need them to translate the Bible for you. Read it yourself in the Original language. This is a historical document that goes back many thousands of years. Before the Bible was written on Papyrus there were clay tablets that you can learn how to read and study also. Very few people have learned how to translate the clay tablets so there is a real demand for people that are interested to study and translate them. So if you think you can do better then they have done up to now then by all means show us what you can do. After all if Trump knows more then the generals then I am sure that you know more then the PhD's that have devoted their whole life to study the Bible.

I'm a bit lost as to who and what we're talking about specifically, but I think that whether or not 'they're' right would depend on the evidence and facts they can present rather than who they associate with.

Opinion? I have a book around here that they use in graduate school written by a doctor of theology. We could look at that if you want. Of course if you think you already know more then the experts know, then I guess we would be wasting our time. Even if generations after generation for thousands of years spent their entire life to study something. I am sure you know more then they do because after all you put at least two or three minutes of thought into this. Many generations of people who have put their whole life into the pursuit of the truth is nothing and pales in comparison to the work you have put into seeking after and knowing the truth. I mean you claim to know more then every text book that has ever been written. So my hat is off to your superior knowledge greater then any living man or any man that has ever lived up to this point in time.

It is against the rules to make that determination. I can not define who is a true Christian and who is apostate. The words I use are words from the Bible so you would have to look them up in a Bible dictionary. During the tribulation period the false government will turn on the false church.

"And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the harlot, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire". Rev 17:16

I have no problem with that. All language has roots somewhere. I think that AV read the Scofield Bible and I read the Ryrie but they are both based on fundamental dispensationalism going back to Darby. There was a debate between Calvin vs Arminianism vs Wesley. I tend more toward Wesley, I do not know where he stands on that discussion.

Christians received the Old Testament from the Hebrews people. There is a written and an oral tradition. So we have to look to Judaism or Messianic Judaism to explain just how the various documents were all organized together. If we want to understand how Moses brought the various Clay Tablets together into Papyrus that is a subject they study in graduate schools. You people like to bounce around. One day your are barely functioning at a third grade level and then the next day you want to study graduate level stuff.

I really can not help you on language theory. There are two different theories the Christian and the Secular language theories. You are correct we read in the story of the Tower of Babel that the language was confused. I believe the foundation for the tower of Babel is still there in Iraq. They call them ziggurat today. If you are building out of stone you are limited with your material as to how high you can go. The higher you go the bigger your base needs to be. English is the universal language today made up off all the scattered languages from the time of the tower of Babel. I have worked with a lot of foreign college students that struggle with trying to learn English so they can get a good education here in America. Then they go back to their country to teach the people there what they have learned here. My mom hosted an organization that worked with the University and I was very involved in that. Mostly China but I have a good friend that works with the Arab students. He even has a fancy security clearance.
