Mankind corruption is beyond any doubt what so ever, just look at politics.
Worldwide endemic corruption in politics, and this is not even debatable.

This makes one very reluctant to believe the claims made by mankind in
any subject, even science.

Paul notices several groups using the recent heavy rain in France and Germany as caused by Global Warming.

Here it is:

"The Paris floods, that saw extreme rainfall swell the river Seine to its highest level in decades, were made almost twice as likely because of the manmade emissions driving global warming, scientists have found."

What a farse to say the flood was related to manmade emissions. Absurd.

There is polluted science to discern and avoid in our midst by people corrupting science by their sinful ways.

Science does not hide ones sinful nature and corrupt ways before God. Science cannot make mankind pure in their ways.

Now as much as ever mankind needs what Jesus did for them at the Cross: they need to come before Him and accept His grace.

Excellent thread! The worship of science is spoken of in Romans 1. Man loves the creation more than the creator. Science is God to most people today. If science says it's true it must be true. Yet the bible say God is true and every man a liar.

God used man to write the bible that's true, but and its the most important but, God inspired the writers. His hand was in it intimately. He said all would pass away but his word would never pass away. That is proof that God takes care of his word. Jesus said not one tiny piece of the law would pass away until all was fulfilled. The Bible has stood the test of time and despite many men trying to wipe it out it still exists and is translated into nearly every language on this planet. God takes care of his word. Man may use the word of God inappropriately because man is wicked. Just like they use science the same way. But that doesn't mean the word,of God is bad or wrong any more than science is bad. Its the twisting and misuse of evil men that makes it wrong.

Instead of science pointing men to God which God says it should, men use it and twist it to pull men away from God.

1. The climate has always changed since the beginning. There is no normal or standard steady state.

2. It is not wise to build a house much less cities on flood plains. How did the sediment you build on get there understanding - it happens like in the past.

3. Man does not have enough observational information to know what natural cycles independently and synchronized do to the weather events we encounter.

A) A lot of claims and speculations is not science.

B) Misuse of science is perversion of science

All of the above is information presented daily that we have to filter and discern.

This (lack of) logic has always made me giggle.

People have always been getting cancer, including the time period before they smoked tobacco. Cancer is a naturally occurring ailment in humans. Therefore, smoking cigarettes is not causing cancer.

Does that make sense? NO. And yet that is the very argument that science deniers use against global warming.

I dont know for sure if they knew or not. I think there is some indications they knew they were instructed by God. Times in the OT it was obvious and in the NT Paul really wrote that he was given the stuff from God and he indicated Peter wrote scripture. So there's some pretty good indicators they knew.

God used men to write the Word with intent to remain invisible to fleshly men.

For those who receive His Spirit, when He works within, the Bible starts to come alive verse by verse and the Author known in heart. The unbelieving heart says "prove it." It always will.
