I personally think everyday is a day to spend with God lol Even if you just sit and say "Hi... sitting here, listening if you wanna share anything." Not always going to the Lord to fix something or give you something. I think the very first thing God did with me before salvation and everything else, was define what a "relationship" looks like. How can we say we know God and spend no time with him? And learning scripture isn't a substitute for a literal relationship. It's like reading an autobiography, can you say you have a friendship after reading their book? But I do agree with you about spending time with him on saturdays, but honestly, I would say everyday. Is the Lord not worth it?

Agree, we should worship and praise God 24/7 365. I read the Bible and pray daily, But God knows we have work and labors and families to attend to and gardening and gym , paying bills and what other daily activities that fill our lives. That's what makes the Sabbath so special is we can cast all of those things aside and just spend the Sabbath solely focusing on Him time alone and time with the church family Lev23:3 Acts 13:44 Isa66:23.

Isa 58:13 “If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath,
From doing your pleasure on My holy day,
And call the Sabbath a delight,
The holy day of the Lord honorable,
And shall honor Him, not doing your own ways,
Nor finding your own pleasure,
Nor speaking your own words,
14 Then you shall delight yourself in the Lord;
And I will cause you to ride on the high hills of the earth,
And feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father.
The mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

The Sabbath commandment is to cease working so we can keep the Sabbath day holy. Exo 20:8-11 Making it a joyful day spending time and resting in God on His sacred and holy day.

But the verses you posted from Isaiah clearly says the point adds to delight in the Lord. So to set aside time with him and to make sure it's done consistently. Sorry, I am not trying to correct, but just wanted to show you the Scriptures. Pray for the Holy Spirit to guide you on how to keep His Sabbath, God gives direction on the main points, but as you continue keeping the Sabbath and see the sacred time God wants to spend with us, there is no feeling like it. It really is a blessing and a delight.

My previous pastor, who I still watch, did a series on the Ten Commandments as we are told they are exceedingly broad Psa119:165. He goes through each commandment and uses stories from the Bibles and Scriptures to show just how broad they are.

Pastor Doug is a pretty popular pastor, it was told Charlie Kirk listened to his sermons and was a Sabbath-keeper sadly before he died and I know Chili from TLC posts about him a lot on her Instagram. To me he was just my regular pastor before I moved, but I appreciate his style of being more a teacher than a pastor.

Jesus made two very important statements about these two commandments
That all the Law and Prophets (Scriptures) hangs on these two commandments- loving God and loving neighbor and there are no other commandments greater than these.

Scripture does not delete Scripture. Why the verse you quoted does not say on this new command deletes everything I ever commanded previously. Instead, Jesus said to live by every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God, Mat4:4 instead of deleting it.

Addressed previously. New doesn't mean everything else He said is deleted. Love does not delete the commandments. Everything in the Bible hangs on love, loving God, loving neighbor. The Bible explains what this means as it is not a feeling but an act of obedience. 1 John 5:2-3 John14:15 Exo20:6 why Jesus said there are no greater commandments than loving God and loving our neighbor. These are not arbitrary things as shown in the OP that we each can make up what we think it means, its actually explained.

For love "necessarily 'does no harm', " it doesn't need the Decalogue. . .love doesn't need laws to tell it how to act.

It's not complicated, if you really love. . .and if you don't, observing the Decalgoue is nothing but legalism.

One verse is all you need when God in Jesus gives
the New Covenant command: "love one another as I have loved you" (Jn 13:34), which
supersedes the obsolete Old Covenant (Heb 8:13) Decalogue: "do no harm," just as

Obviously the laws being spoken of is the Ten Commandments, the only laws written on stone and where did those laws go? It tells us plainly to tablets of flesh, of the heart.

Which is the New Covenant God promised writing His laws (plural) in our hearts Heb8:10 because we see plainly, the words of God’s laws didn't change just the location. Jer31:33 Heb8:10 established on better promises Heb8:6 of what He will do if we cooperate with Him John14:15-18 Heb8:10 Rom8:7-8

Jesus is our High Priest in the New Covenant and He put an end to animal sacrifices for sin as predicted Dan9:27 which is exactly what He did. Heb 10:1-10

Why anyone would think there is a new command that deletes the command to only worship God Exo20:3 or the commandment that tells us what God we should only worship Exo20:11 thats a sign of His Sanctification Eze20:12 a sign between God and His people Eze 20:20 I’ll never understand, but its not something we can find in our Bibles.

Why the Ten Commandments didn’t go anywhere in the New Covenant except the hearts and minds of His New Covenant believers, Jesus the Mediator of the New Covenant has His Testimony in His heavenly temple Rev 11:19 Rev 15:5 as it will be the standard of our judgement John 12:48 Exo20:1 Exo 31:18 Rev15:5 James 2:11-12 Rev22:14-15 Rev 11:18-19 where He plainly tells us who He shows mercy to Exo20:6. I will never understand why there is so much enmity against what God of the Universe wrote and God spoke so plainly, God tells us why Rom8:7-8 2 Tim 4:3-4 but it still doesn’t make sense to me considering everything Jesus did for us and asks for so little back John14:15.
