So what does that tell you about your knowledge of God? It works both ways doesn't it?

Fair enough --- I'll stop capitalizing it.Indeed -- all proper names, including titles of books such as "Bible," are capitalized as a sign of respect. The only name in English that merits enough respect to get its pronouns capitalized as well is "God." That you choose to do the same to "Bible" only confirms what most of us already long since suspected.
(btw, "Word" is not a pronoun.)
As God puts it:So what does that tell you about your knowledge of God?
Deuteronomy 29:29 said:The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.
1 Corinthians 13:12 said:For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
that line of reasoning could be used for anything. replace the word angels with:Picture someone saying: I don't believe angels exist.
Now picture me replying: Now that's quite a statement in view of this --- 1 .
Go ahead then --- do so.that line of reasoning could be used for anything. replace the word angels with:
zeus, thor, the giant spaghetti monster, klingons, xenu.
it's not about what i believe it's about the flaw in your reasoning. you flash this great uncertainty before our faces and then suggest that angels are a reasonable belief since we dont know enough about the universe to rule them out. that is not a reason to believe in something. science rules out very little actually. the most science can say about most supernatural issues is it violates laws of physics or has no empirical basis.Go ahead then --- do so.
If you really, truly believe Zeus, Thor, etc. are just as valid as God, then let's see your faith in them.
But the fact that these characters have no following today, have no documentation today, and are confined to Hollywood today, speaks volumes.
You don't realize it, but atheists and scientists here take God very seriously --- look around.
If I was an apologist for Santa Claus, they'd be LOLing in cyberspace and not giving me a second glance.
But the fact that these guys are investing so much time, effort, and emotion here trying to invalidate the claims of God's Documentation speaks volumes for God's validity.
Do hunting dogs (or their owners) go after plastic rabbits?
[I know --- here come the greyhound racetrack pics.]
Fair enough --- I'll stop capitalizing it.
(btw, "I" is a pronoun that's capitalized as well.)

It's an epidemic! RUNWhat is with all these zombie threads?
What is with all these zombie threads?
It's more of a GOOD POINT thread that I use to QV people to when they need to be reminded that they aren't half as knowledgeable about what isn't in this universe as they think they are.
Or to put it another way, This Thread Was Already Dead
COMING SOON TO THEATERS NEAR YOU!!!!1
Three ways to be a zombie thread:
1. posted by a zombie
2. shameful electrified corpse of a thread posted again
3. dead when posted
Did I miss any?
Sounds about right to me.
Zombie infestation = reinstatement of a entire forum.
Although some people miss the General Apologetics board, I'm sure our Lord wouldn't want a zombie plague on our hands.
