I'm sure a member of the clergy tried to explain it to you, but when you rejected him, you evidently threw the baby out with the bathwater -- and now you don't understand.
I never had an issue with clergy telling me something ridiculous, like the waters of the flood went to Neptune to scare off angels. So, no, that was never an issue with them.
Are we supposed to be unmovable as well?
1Co 15:58 ¶ Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
That passage shows itself that it does not mean we con't move... "be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding
in the work of the Lord.." Context, AVET... Context. Now show me how the Context of the following lines from scripture show they do not reference an unmoving earth. If you have a case, you will convince me:
1 Chronicles 16:30: "He has fixed the earth firm, immovable."
Psalm 93:1: "Thou hast fixed the earth immovable and firm ..."
Psalm 96:10: "He has fixed the earth firm, immovable ..."
Psalm 104:5: "Thou didst fix the earth on its foundation so that it never can be shaken."
Isaiah 45:18: "...who made the earth and fashioned it, and himself fixed it fast..."
Nope -- those who have it wrong are those who don't understand, and those who don't understand are usually those who rejected it when they first heard it.
Nonsense. You still are soooooo sure about yourself and your falsified pet paradigms, that you still think you understand me.... in reality you still do not.
