Hmmm...part of me has some uneasiness....but that's because of the "structure" environment that I have been through. But...yours is under the guidance of medical professionals. Just make sure you understand everything going into it. All the rules...more important WHY and the hearts behind the rules. Because of where I spent for year, many people after leaving couldn't ease back into society, and went "crazy" is that that went into a lifestyle of partying, sex, and drugs. When they had the "freedom" they couldn't control themselves...because it was so much at a time. And That they ran from the Lord forever.
I know it may be hard, leaving home for that long time. But in interest of the bigger picture of your life, and the future husband and kids you may have (unless the Lord has called you to Singlehood). Even more so...it may be an amazing ministry helping other girls who feel like you, or who are in situations like you.
I truly believe it's a legitimate place. I heard about first from a Christian magazine that I fully trust. Also a lot of big name Christian aritist support it too. I assure you it's nothing like you went through.
Thanks for your concern though. I'll PM you the link to it and you can look at it. From what I've seen and heard about it it's basically like you described. An amazing ministry to help girls.
