Law of sin and death?

I believe as scripture says, if we abide in Christ we sin not.

And He was law abiding.. so abide therein..

This is going way beyond what I had asked.

I was wondering if since adulterers were to be stoned to death, and our Lord said lusting in the heart was the same as adultery, should he/she who lusts be put to death?

Why or why not?

I don't believe so, because adulterers acted...they actually (bodily) carried out what was in their heart, so maybe that is why they were to suffer actual punishment for it. The Adon said to look at a woman with lust is as adultery (committed in the heart), but He didn't say that the luster was an adulterer, just like He didn't say that the one who hates his brother is a murderer, but hate in the heart is as murder (but they are ,in fact, a hater). I believe this understanding is validated in the following verse:

James 1:14-15
"…14But each one is tempted when by his own evil desires he is lured away and enticed. 15Then after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin,when it is fully grown, gives birth to death."

Where exactly is anything ever said about a mosiac covenant? Ive heard this term used many times. And yet no one who uses the term has ever contributed the Scripture that defines such a term.
Especially considering the Torah is Holy and a shadow of good things to come. If so how then is it moses law?
For the Torah has in it a shadow of the good things to come, but not the actual manifestation of the originals.

What exactly does this mean? According to Torah:

Leviticus 20:10
‘If there is a man who commits adultery with another man’s wife, one who commits adultery with his friend’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.​

Does this mean the death penalty is off the table? I know our Lord let a woman caught "in the very act" off the death penalty hook on 2 grounds: 1 - no one would testify against her and 2 - no one grabbed the man.

So how does that relate to this?

Matthew 5:28
but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.​

Is that person liable to the death penalty?

The law of sin and death is found in the book Romans. Perhaps the law of sin and death pertains to the Roman rule over the Jews. Paul also appealed to Cesar.

Yeshua was made under the law, but the gentiles were subject to Grace.

What i had hoped to encourage was a reminder of blood and garments involving the priest. With the instructions given, Its not so much what is said but wasnt from what i heard and noticed.

When we find the shadow we know that the object we seek after is not far away.

I love your conversation in oil and reminders of the Eternal life in The Blood of The Holy One.
Ole sh'aul does give credence to such. In the letter to Hebrews there is boldness as far as I can see.
To approach the Lord without a spirit of fear as a person or family had in the past.
And to share such wonderful news is an oil of gladness I imagine is overwhelming.
If only....
With instructions of purity given in the Torah_shemot 29 I wonder if anyone saw the shadow of a better promise in the (wine)blood and (bread)flesh,?
