No, I don't. I know that thalidomide was intentionally created as a pre-natal drug, but the side effects weren't fully studied before the drug was released.

Thalidomide is different than say, the Hindenburg.

The Hindenburg was just sloppy scientists doing stupid things, like filling a balloon up with hydrogen and assuming a RAUCHEN VERBOTEN sign insured them a safe voyage.

But they overlooked the very person they worshipped: MOTHER NATURE.

Now the DEEPWATER HORIZON, that was an example of scientists exhibiting a love for money.

And the TITANIC? well, that was an example of scientists who weren't willing to do the math.

After all, the quotient of passengers to lifeboats should be a fraction, not a mixed number.

But THALIDOMIDE? no comment.
