Please tell me what on earth Jimmy Swaggart Ministries is doing printing CD covers for Hip Hop Artists and Posters for an area Lesbian bar in their non-profit ministry printshop?

How can they so adamantly preach against what they themselves are doing?

The answer I am giving to your questions (I am quoting) could be wrong. At least, I hope I am wrong, but the love of money is what comes to my mind. As it is written:

I am neither a fan of, nor a detractor of, Mr. Swaggart or his ministry. However, if you state something controversial as fact, you need to provide evidence. That way we can answer your question intelligently, instead of just with opinions.

On A Study In The Word yesterday (Thursday 7th February), Bro. Swaggart said that all their printing is now outsourced as it was cheaper than printing it themselves.

Swaggart's do not have any printing presses on their campus. I worked there for several years and know this to be true.

I stumbled across the channel for Swaggarts ministry a couple months ago and watch some of the programming. It seemed very anointed and the people in the church all seemed to be worshipping very sincerely. I have gone back to see some of the programs - it is beautiful worship and I love the music. I hear from the Holy Spirit very clearly and I did not find any reluctance in watching this worship.

I still have not seen any evidence of any wrong-doing by Jimmy Swaggart or his ministry. Only unsubstantiated accusations.

I have never accused Pastor Swaggart...I watch daily and learn daily from Pastor Swaggart.

It appears that this is common for someone(or several) to make one post about some controversial idea or live situation and then never come back and reply. I've seen it many many times. When I first noticed it I was upset. But the replies have been heart felt and honest. So I think God for Christians that are willing to give their time to help and even if in the end no help is given to a person in need. There is a maturing that happens to those of us who take time to give a reply out of love to help another.

But now I almost always check to see who the original post comes from and if they have responded to any of the replies to their OP.

Can you show me anyone anywhere that is NOT guilty of this? There was a book out called: "What would Jesus do". There were businessmen who decided to run their business in accordance with their faith in Jesus. This produced some very interesting results. For me this was a struggle as a Christian to run a Christian business. Even as Jesus I was a carpenter. So I do not think we should be throwing stones at others and their failed attempt. The challenge is for us to live the Christian life as a example for others to follow.

Jesus will Judge Jimmy at the Judgement seat of Christ. Jesus will decide if he receives a reward or if Jimmy suffers loss. Still that is no reflection on his salvation because it is not by our works that we are saved. Paul warns us "Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God." 1 Cor 4:5

The message of the Cross IS the Cross of Christ. Swaggart certainly teaches it. It is the center of his message.

The message of the cross is all about how Jesus died for our sins. The cross of Christ is about how we must die daily in union with Jesus. Very few people teach this. It is in fact a lie people are teaching, they teach about what Jesus did, the miracles, even in movies they show this. In both movies & from pulpits you hardly ever hear what Jesus taught. We are not to sit back & get misty eyed but fall on our knees & pray for grace to embrace our vocation as new creations in Christ, dead to sin & the world & alive to God. That is true grace.

Just curious but are you & others really a part of the Assemblies of God because this is not Weslyan teaching but Lutherism & Calvinism! I mean I thought I found a forum where I could interact with like minded believers. As I've posted before, Assemblies of God is denying their doctrine for more popular teaching.
