For sure it will not work long term, because population pressure, combined with political, religious and resource factors preclude it.

Trouble is that it will not work in short term either. Israel occupation is not going anywhere and that 50 billion that are promised are unlikely to ever actually be sent while Trump`s decision of Jerusalem has alienated the Palestinians.

This is nothing more than a threadbare attempt of Trump administration to show that they tried "everything" which gives them a plausible reason not interfere with Israel`s continuing illegal occupation in the area.

But I guess we can talk about it in few months.
