Israel Can't Make a New Ark for a New Temple

Don't know why anyone would think Rome has it, it was gone long before then.

Rome claims to have everything from the clothes Jesus wore on the cross to splinters from the cross itself. It should surprise no one that they claim to have the arc of the covenant. They probably have a shriveled up leaf that they claim Adam wore in the garden on display next to the pinky toe of a martyr.

Well, I have heard that. Which is sad, while expected. He did find something in Israel and even when I was reading it I thought that it should be less public knowledge.

From what I understand, Israel did not want any of it leaked, but Ron had already told some people.. So, Israel discredited him in order to perpetrate a fraud.

That is pretty simple to do in the arena of Christians, the ark and the skepticism and convoluted opinions of the end times...
Just hint that someone is a fraud and this epic discovery was a fraud... and bingo... your name is mud and everyone believe that your mud... whether you are or not.

Yes, I have heard about it and saw the video. Absolutely no proof whatsoever. He claimed he found it in a tunnel at the pseudo tomb site...which has been historically and scientifically proven to be the false site.

Yeah...people of great fervor can sometimes be convinced of something that is not there or happening. See the Jerusalem Syndrome affect some people have when they go to Israel.

My parents have been to Israel. There are a lot of so called "places" that are "supposed" to be where biblical events happened. Even in Bethlehem... However, My father is a very intelligent man with a very good grasp on biblical teaching... Many of these so called "places" are just tourist traps. They don't line up with biblical narratives.. but people are happy to be told that "X" happened here... etc.

Even talking to local people.. they will tell you that nobody is certain.

They even believe that the Dome on the Rock is not on the temple mount.... I tend to agree.

So, I don't just take these "facts" to be "facts".

God will reveal it in the end. The government and experts in Israel have reasons for secrets and reasons for silence on many things... They are a country that is under constant threat of being wiped out...

Many even say that the Via Dolorosa is not the path that Christ walked to the site of His crucifixion.

The "garden tomb" can not be authentic because the tomb is not from the 1st century (G. Barkay). The actual tomb in the Church of the resurrection has been scientifically and historically authenticated (D. Bahat and M. Biddle). Yes, the via dolorosa is only partially the path.
