Muslims on an individual basis are the same as everyone anywhere. As a general rule, they show more devoutness than your typical North American or European. Other than that they are as good as, bad as, charitable as, aggressive as, peaceful as, individuals from any other group of people.
We are all children of the same Eve, after all.

The important thing to note is that Islam itself is not just a different version of Christianity or Judaism, or even Buddhism, for that matter. It is an inherently political religion, modeled after the political religions that ruled its world at its founding, namely Byzantine Orthodoxy, and Persian Zoroastrianism. It is an inherently supremacist religion, with its own political legal system, an authoritarian form of governance, and rights of "citizenship", including mode of taxation, based on submission to the tenets of the politico-religious authorities.

America itself is based in the belief that we are all individuals who make our own individual choices. This would include Muslims or course. This is the same for Canadians too by the way, and Europeans, and Japanese, and anyone who has opted into the values of citizenship rights based on the equality of all citizens.
The Western form of civil society by its very character and beliefs accepts the truth that Muslims too are individuals and ought to be treated as such. Recognizing the primacy of the individual means not discriminating on more superficial qualities not inherent to who the individual is such as creed or color or religion.
What is missing in the West today is the self-confidence to assert that to become a member of Western societies one must first affirm that basic values are shared by those who seek out to become citizens. To accept supramacist values that are contrary to individual rights, in the name of individual rights, is the kind of moral insanity that only cultures that lack any kind of self confidence or sense of self worth engage in.
Personal experience with Muslims teaches us that, like anyone else, they are individuals. As individuals, they are more than capable of rejecting the values of the theocratic Islamist societies that they come from and accepting the Western values of our own societies.
That can never happen however, to the extent that we are rejecting our own, either our of liberal guilt that typifies our dominant culture, or the self-righteous disdain that typifies the contempt for the libertine culture as expressed by the religious counter-culture of our post-christian world.
Decadence, after all, is not what our societies are uniquely about. Decadence is what all societies since the Fall. Rejection of western values on account of decadence will not change a thing.
Islam is fundamentally weak. It is an archaic system, no more suited to modern systems that would be Byzantine Orthodoxy, or Zoroastrian Persia, or the Papo-romanism of the medieval church.
These are all defunct systems of governance.
The only reason that Islamist would come to dominate the world again therefore, is if Western civilization stops believing in itself.
That has nothing to do with Muslims and who they are, and everything to do with who we are.

I'm not sure I'm ready to agree. From what I understand, the more dominant, and increasingly widespread sect in Islam is the Wahibi brand of Sunni, which often excludes more contemplative, prayerful versions or beliefs in Sunni Islam, such as Sufism -the brand of Rumi, and all other more tolerant Sunnis.

...Sometimes we forget this important distinction -and with the Salafist or (wahibis), whatever term we prefer, we see the 'dominate the world' tendencies.

...If Wahaabism did not exist, we could treat Islam respectfully, just like Buddhism or Hinduism. But at this point, who can really do that and be honest about it when this dangerous branch of Islam has become so widespread?

IMO, this form of Islam should be banned from the Western world, and be known as a terrorist organization officially, once and for all.

Saudi oil money is able to buy influence at mosques globally. This has had an insidious influence.
But Saudi oil dollars, are also able to buy off politicians globally. That is why Salafi is never in anyone's crosshairs, even as moderate Muslims in North American mosques are being driven from positions of influence.
that is where we are at with that at the moment.

He admits that some of his predictions do not come about.

Predictions of things to come are of interest to everybody, for without exception we like to peer through the veil of the future. Making predictions, or foretelling, is but one phase of the work of the prophet.

There are four passages of Scripture to keep in mind when talking about the prophet's predictions of things to come:

1. Secret things belong to God (Deut. 29:29).

2. God reveals secrets to the prophets (Amos 3:7).

3. Unfulfilled predictions made in the name of the Lord are presumptuous; fulfilled predictions demonstrate that the prophet was sent by the Lord (Jer. 28:9).

4. Some prophecies are conditional (Jer. 18: 7-10 ).

Prophets have been God's chosen spokesmen, and through them He has made known things to come. Hence it is but natural for men to watch with eager interest to see whether such predictions actually come to pass. A failure of fulfillment would obviously become a factor in acceptance or rejection of the one claiming to be a prophet.
1 Corinthians 14:39 Therefore, my brothers and sisters, be eager to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues.

1 Corinthians 11:4 Every man who prays or prophesies with his head covered dishonors his head.

That's their express intent. Islam is a political ideology first. Islam since its beginning has never been about peace. Not even in Muslim ruled nations is there peace.
The structure of the society that Islamic teaching brings about will never be conducive to peace. Indeed, to the contrary, that structure is conducive to expansion, which is the stated intent of Islamic dogma in the first place. Christianity is global in scope, and views all men as fitting for the good news of Christ's redemption. Islam is global in scope too, but its goal is not the salvation of souls, but the creation of the universal Caliphate.

That fact that the elite men in that society are allowed four wives, means that there will be three men, often young, without any wives. Of course, Islam is patterned after Arabic tribal society, which is a raiding culture, and the booty of young women become available to these men who opt to fight to expand that House of Islam into the House of War.

Islam by its very nature leads to the kinds of inequalities in society that are impossible to rise out of. The primal call of both God and nature, to go forth and multiply can never be fulfilled in a polygamous world, without constant warfare to fill the beds of young men with a resource that is inherently in short supply.

The President has not put a banned on Muslims countries, but a temporary banned on countries that are known for Terrorism. He needs time to review the system on vetting the immigrants. Even the ones that are doing the vetting. People in these days will do anything for money, even if it is endangering their livelihood of being a victim of terrorism as well.

Well, not quite. I believe it is clear that Saudi Arabia has more of a history of exporting terror to the USA than many of these other countries. There is every reason to believe that Mr. Trump is playing to the fears of his base, rather than implementing a sound, necessary policy.

Consider too, that as major economic partners, there could be less concern that the Saudi government wouldn't act more responsibly in who they allow to enter the US.

...Unless there is evidence that Saudi based terrorists entered the US directly from Saudi Arabia, and not from one of the 7 on Trumps list.

Well, i believed that Obama had sign a bill that we cannot sue the Saudis for their involvement of the 9/11 attack. And I guess that we cannot even use it against them at all in the future. But right now, they are trying to make President Trump feel guilty if he goes against the Muslim country of Saudi Arabia, but not to go against Russia for their so-called conjured up evidence by their intelligence agencies for their involvement of this election. So the Obama's clan has conjured up this story to put President Trump between a rock and a hard place. And the Obama's crew is bursting out with laughter at him.

The nations on the list in the EO were singled out by the Obama administration as terrorist producing nations.

There is a great difference in methods used.

Christians say "this is the truth, you will do yourself a great favor by believing it".
Moslems say "do what I tell you to do or I will chop your head off".
Crusades????

Wherever sharia law is promoted, that population believes that murdering people for trivial crimes (or non-crimes) is justified.
Full sharia law in :Egypt, Mauritania, Sudan, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, the Maldives, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and certain regions in Indonesia, Malaysia, Nigeria, and the United Arab Emirates.

family law covered by sharia here: Algeria, Comoros, Djibouti, Gambia, Libya, Morocco, Somalia, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Brunei, Gaza Strip, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Malaysia, Oman, and Syria.

You do realize I could make many of the same arguments regarding Christianity, right?

Like American Christians killing doctors in the USA. Like American Christians advocating killing Muslims in other countries (Invasion of Iraq). Like American Christian groups such as the KKK advocating violence against minority groups. All supported by various Christian leaders, who use the bible to justify these actions.

And if we look at Christians outside the USA, Christians in Africa burn "witches" alive. Again, supported by the bible.
