love4jesus said:Yes I do go for single Christian men. Most of the Christian men in my church are already married or dating someone. The ones who are single aren't interested in me. There is one guy who goes to my school and church, he always smiles and says hi to me but I am too shy to talk to him.

God has a wonderful man for you -- it's in his plan!
love4jesus said:Why do I feel that I cannot get a boyfriend because I am not pretty? I keep telling myself that if I lost weight, got my scars removed, if I had bigger breasts, normal hearing, no mole on my neck, and nice hair someone would like me.All the wrong guys like me, guys that are weird. I don't know why I feel that a lot of guys only like girls for their beauty.
love4jesus said:lol.Hello. Saying hi isn't the problem to my shyness, it is talking to a guy that is the hard part. I turn all red and get nervous around a guy that I like. I don't like anyone right now but I remember when I did. I got embarrassed once because a guy shook my hand and my palms were sweaty because I was so nervous. What can I talk about with a guy that I might be interested in? Usually we are left in silence and in a akward situation.

RED that's ME said:I'm really sorry you feel that way.I know how you feel. I could give you a long list of what all I think are my bad qualities. I try not to dwell on it but try to make the most of what I do have.
Life isn't fair and even though we don't understand the reason or rhyme of it all we are still to take what we have been blessed with and make the most of it to God's glory.
Do you know that Jesus understands how you feel?
The Bible says he was comely looking, meaning not a model beauty Isaiah 53:2b, He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him. All this tells us is that Jesus appearance was just like any other man He was ordinary looking. Most of the images we have of Jesus are probably very inaccurate. Jesus was a Jew, so He likely had very tan skin, dark eyes, and dark hair. This is a far cry from the blond-haired, blue-eyed, fair-skinned Jesus in most modern pictures.
Society puts way too much emphasis on the body and not enough on the inside. God doesn't do that. Remember what God told Samuel in 1 Samuel 16:7 "'Don't judge by a man's face or height....I don't make decisions the way you do! Men judge by outward appearance but I look at a man's thoughts and intentions'"
Don't equate imperfection with failure. The flawless beauty, perfect job, faultless mate, ideal church there is no such thing. Instead of trying to look like what the world says it the ideal person, we need to take what we have and make it the best for the glory of God. We will be much happier if we do that. Don't let the world rob you of your emotional & spiritual dignity.
That's what we need to concentrate on, walking with God. He has a plan for us and our body is part of that plan. Maybe He wants us to work somehow with so-called "average-looking people," helping them develop on the inside where God really looks. And believe me, God is still working on who we are on the inside. Give him a chance to do what He's going to do. Instead of asking ... 'Why am I not more beautiful on the outside?' ask this question: 'How can I cooperate with God to help me become more beautiful on the inside?'
