I just realized a little problem with this. The New Jerusalem city landing on a dome, would have the same issue as landing on a globe.

Your model has a closed dome, the same as all the pagan flat earth views. Open dome is what you find in a globe model because no matter how far you travel, the dome is still open. You never reach an edge.

The dome is an open space where birds fly and the sun, moon and stars move.

It is holding back waters that are above it, but no where in The Bible is it stated that the raqia is impassible as Jesus went up and through the raqia. To get back to the Father.

I didn't say that's what the Bible says. I pointed out something a flat earth proponent said. So going by that, the firmament is a solid metal dome, but it's not impassible.

That would mean either the earth is half spherical via a dome, or the earth is completely spherical. Either possibly can be taken from that passage.

Although I don't know how longitude and latitude can be derived from the half sphere model.
