I love your aesthetic! The landscaping shots are gorgeous. I like the light and airy portraits. You shoot cool. That's my preference.

Yes, I did. It was a swimsuit shoot for a contest. Nothing risque.

How nice! Was the shoot long?

Yes. I really needed an assistant. It was shot at this cool house with an amazing view. Very nice couple. I will use their home again. It was bright and sunny so moving in and out of shadows was tricky. We shot in the pool on floats, on lounge chairs, seated, etc. She switched swimsuits a lot. That's what took time. We are doing a follow up shoot on Tuesday.

Help with lighting, help with poses, help women with adjusting their clothing or hair, ... It depends on their skill set. In a perfect world you have a creative director who helps plan the concept, clothing, style, etc. Then they or someone else helps in the assistant role during the shoot.

It's a lot to do on your own. A photography student may appreciate the opportunity to gain hands-on experience.

Boise is not a big city. Perfect size for me but it's small for a state capital. We don't have a large population to pick from.
