Is masturbation a sin?
Or we call it wet dream.
Or we call it wet dream.
i don't disagree that you wont be doing it ,, but your speaking of heaven as opposed to the millennium where man will still exist as flesh and blood ,while the redeemed are clothed with immortality and no longer flesh and blood and no longer reproduce, ie -do not marry nor are they given in marriage - like the scripture states . but its off the op question and the answer to that question is simple ..Put it this way, you will not be masturbating in the New Heaven and Earth. You will awaken with new flesh and a partner of the opposite sex. This means you will never have to be married and you two will never be divorced. Women will not have to give birth to the flesh of a man. God has a whole different way of birthing the visible flesh into the world in Paradise. We will have to wait and see how that will be done.
when you know something is not sin.. you never ask . people only ask hoping to get the answer they want because they don't like the answer they already have in their conscience .
they ask because they know it is a sin and want to be told it is not .
same rule applies .. if your asking its because you already know .. if you have to ask then don't Do that behavior because its against your conscience and your just seeking a more favorable answer .. it is sin.Not really. I could ask if a certain style of meditation is a sin, just to rule out the possibility of it being one.
Sometimes the most treacherous of sins are the ones we aren't consciously aware of ,but would stop in a heartbeat if we knew what we were doing.
the last is fornication .. ie -Sin .it's one of those bodily functions that is supposed to have a partner and be restricted to marriage.
thus doing it solo minus the partner and substituting the hand is not how this was intended to be handled.
yes, i know, society today is not set up to accomodate early marriage.
and yes, i know that the maturation and onset of the abilities have spiraled downward in the centuries since the creation.
thus there are really only three solutions;
1. abstainance (yea, i know--not popular)
2. early marriage with parental support and nurture
3. use of prostitutes until marriage
and that last in and of itself is debateable.
however in Rome and well before that, there were temple prostitutes available for useage
with the excuse that using them was the same as making a donation to the gods.
Even in the First Century Church it was thought permissable for those not permitted to marry to use concubines for such purposes.
During the early and Midieval wars, one of the 'spoils' was use of the conquored women by the conquoring soldiers.
Down through history there have been various excuses used to get around the 'sex in marriage only' rules, and all of them were there to benefit someone.
without getting into too much detail, farmers and plantation owners in the South used the excuse of increasing their 'stock' by exercizing their rights as owners to selectively breed their 'stock' as well as via buying. This was still common even after the Civil War and right up through the early 1900's.
During the expansion of the West it was common for saloons to be erected before there was a church. and the bar maids worked double duties in the rooms overhead.
These things have always been done under the table. and while not spoken of in front of the ladies, most of the men knew.

its really very simple .. if you know in your conscience it is wrong then don't do it what ever it is .
its veering off topic but when you have been baptized in the holy Spirit your given the mind of chrsit and he now become the source of your conscience, you can trust in him.Just to throw a spanner in, what if what your conscience is telling you is preventing you from doing something you that really SHOULD be doing? The enemy has more than one way to skin a cat - after all, he's been appearing as an angel of light since Adam in the garden.
I've personally known of Christians who have been procrastinating from what needs to be done, because they think that what they want to do is a sin and/or contrary to what God wants. But it really couldn't have been more opposite.
What happens to spilled seed matters, that it does not end up in the hands of unclean spirits. As in a Jewish NDE account I have watched.
