it’s the same gene ! They decided to switch the genes between organisms to actually see if they were the same genes and they worked normally . But if the promoters were there they’d ,for example ,organize a nervous system in the wrong place . They did those experiments back in the 90s . All of the major bilaterian body plan genes are the same . So you’re about 20 years too late with your objections

Do you have a link? What genes did they replace from what creatures.

I know that many creatures can swap homeo box genes. But it is the rest of teh genetic code that tells the generic homeobox to produce what kind of machanism or limb etc.

That was Darwin’s problem too and he was honest enough with himself to see that nature didn’t back up what he was taught about the Biblical creation

Well, that's what I would expect, since the Biblical account says that the creation was subject to futility (Romans 8:19-20). The unnature Darwin observed confirms the Bible , which says that the creation today is not the same...it is no longer tov meod (What is Tov Meod), so no wonder that he saw a discrepancy.

. Lyell and Hutton had figured out that the earth was very old long before Darwin . I'd say the above ^ is pretty accurate. How many species have been eradicated, because of "scientific" "progress"?
Human ignorance, greed, and or stupidity, yes but because of science no!

You breathe out CO2 , the sun is like a Nuclear reactor, even elephants can and do deforest parts of a tree filled area. Invasive species happen naturally . How do you think bare volcanic islands in the middle of the ocean get animals and plants? Over production ? The next time you pass a linden tree, note how many seeds it produces . They’ll fall off and cover the sidewalk . Humans are a problem for the planet because we are generalists which makes us very adaptable ( even before technology) and there are just so many of us . But some fundies don’t want women to choose to limit their family size with birth control . Which would actually be a help with most of the problems you listed

Being ignorant of the fact that increased technology has led to (not to mention the potential for total annihilation) increased destruction worldwide is without excuse.

"Nearly 500 species have gone extinct during the last century–and in most cases, we humans are to blame. According to a 2015 study by the National Autonomous University (UNAM), 477 species have disappeared since 1900 due to our degradation and destruction of their natural habitats. The researchers said it was the largest mass extinction of species in history.

Last year, Stanford University biologists discovered declining populations for more than 30 percent of all vertebrates. On average, two vertebrate species go extinct every year. One of the researchers referred to this as 'a biological annihilation occurring globally.'"

Hmmm, what happened within the last 200 years to cause such destruction...

Well I did say that there are too many of us and we use or misuse too much of the earth’s resources without putting much back . Technology is a blessing but we can act like a two year old with the family car . Nothing wrong with being 2 and nothing wrong with the car . But a 2 year olds ignorance of consequences is going to cause a major problem. For a long time , we told ourselves that we could “subdue the earth” . It says that in the Bible. We didn’t understand for a long time that our runaway technological advances could eventually cause problems. As I’ve said ignorance, and mixed with greed and stupidity when we wanted to exploit the environment and other people to get supplies for that technology. We just started to understand that when Rachel Carson wrote Silent Spring in the early 60s . Because until she did that, the average Joe or Jane didn’t understand that some of the things we do affect the entire earth and the life on it .

No, go outside to see how living organisms evolved into so many specialized forms, cats, dogs, plants, viruses (ok, you will not see viruses)... its nonsense to say that living organisms do not change.

You will not find cows, birds, bears, dogs, today's trees etc in old fossil strata. So it's a proof that these species are new. But you can find their ancestors in fossils (animals more and more similar to todays animals). Its a proof that todays life evolved gradually.
But what is evolved to some may just be a variation of an original design blueprint that has great scope to change. That great scope to change is part of the design software so to speak just like a computer software has scope to create many variations. Afterall all the changes talked about within species still only have the same basic body plans that have either become bigger, smaller, longer, flatter, disappeared, reappeared etc ect. These changes are perhaps influenced by environments such as with larger animals and plants it was higher levels of oxygen, But a massive limb is still a limb just like a very small one on an insect. It could even be that the original design has the ability to produce new systems that can produce extensions of the original design like a system within a system. But still, this is something inherent from the original design. Something perhaps we will never be able to understand and reproduce artificially and something that cannot be reproduced by a random and blind process.

They figured wrong.

Darwin had Lyell’s book so that right there meant that Darwin understood some basic geology decades before he understood the facts of evolution.
He never understood facts of evolution.
Before Lyell and Hutton there was Galileo who understood that we lived in a heliocentric solar system.

They failed to realize God was moving to earth one day. That makes it the HQ of all universes.

So 2 hundred years before Darwin it was understood that the Bible didn’t give an accurate description of nature .
False. Evolution is a religious fable with no support, and geology is riddled with errors when it comes to dates, and etc. Minimizing the importance of God creating and moving forever to earth is not understanding the universe or world.

What is it about Darwin that you Creationists can’t get past him and you blame him for every stupid mistake y’all make about nature ?
His demonic ideas were from hell.

Who are we most related to as far as consciousness goes?

Neandertals and Denesovans. Both seem to have had the same sort of thinking as we do. But then, they are genetically most closely related modern humans.

His demonic ideas were from hell.

He thought God just created the first living things. So either you're completely wrong, or "demonic" doesn't mean what the dictionary says it means.

Which god?

There's only one. I thought you knew. And we always capitalize His name.

Well making allegations is really really easy-. Talk is cheap. I have yet to see one of you who love to hurl ad-hominems at ICR actually demonstrate by evidence the lies they supposedly throw on mankind!

Why don't you demonstrate one verifiable con job you allege they have foisted upon us who believe the Bible as written in Genesis 1
you think that ICR and the others of their ilk are giving reasonable excuses for their pseudoscience. Anyone who actually understands basic science knows that their explanations have insurmountable problems . Morris’ hydrological sorting idea explains , for example, that dinosaurs were slower than horses, which is why they’re found lower in the fossil record. But it doesn’t explain how magnolias were able to outrun ferns . The creationist explanation for paleontological geology is ad hoc and if looked at in detail , is also rather silly! ALL creationist explanations of natural phenomena are like that. Which is why the scientific community ignores them ( and does eye rolls and facepalms when they read them)
