My dear Martin had his first encounter with Maple Syrup when we visited America for a holiday when he was young. It made such an impression on him, the breakfasts at Denny's, ...and MacDonalds which were only just appearing in England at the time...

After getting a degree in Science in Oxford, and not being able to find a job in science...he ended up in catering and eventually opened restaurants in Oxford and then Bristol.

Fond memories of Maple syrup, Atomic Burger restaurants at Oxford and Bristol, and a wonderful son...

It has been 2 years since my dear son died, one day I will see him again,

no more clouds in the sky,

Martin's birthday on the 23rd of this month...praying for my daughter-in-law and two lovely grandchildren.

Mothering Sunday...'mother's day' here in the UK,
A few years ago I remember my dear son Martin, coming all the way from Oxford, home to see me on his new Harley Davidson moter bike, such a surprise! a wonderful precious 'Golden Moment'

Martin died on 21st February 2015 at the age of 43 years;

Dear Father,

Thank you for the gift of my son,

His loving kindness to his mum and dad,

Now returned home to you;
