If you look at the evolution of evolution, doesn't it seem like it was all for the rise of man...?

Looks like it was even better for the rise of bacteria...

Beat me to it Kylie...

In both number and mass, bacteria are the dominant life form on this planet...

Humans...? Pfffft...! Our bodies contain more bacterial cells than human ones...

Bacteria can't possibly go to other planets by their abilities with technology, or explore the universe... In fact, no other lifeform possibly can, and that is what makes humans and the humanoid like form so unique, and is what i think the evolution or evolution was leading up too...

God Bless!

There are many more types of bacteria than there are types of vertebrate. They have correspondingly unique capabilities. If bacteria were capable of speech they might emphasise those abilities. Meanwhile, each fish, amphibian, reptile and mammal might emphasis, could they speak, their unique qualities.

Now I agree that it is rather remarkable that humans represent a way of the universe contemplating itself, but then - as a human - I would think that, wouldn't I.

As to your teleological beliefs I also agree that science may have rejected teleology a little too soon, but that is an opinion and there really isn't any solid evidence toprovide strong support for your belief. Or, do you actually have some?

And we humans couldn't have survived long enough to move out of the caves without the assistance we get from bacteria...

If we do ever set foot on other planets, they'll be there with us...

Actually, some kinds of bacteria can survive quite well in space. If there are bacteria on a chunk of rock that is blasted off a planet by an meteor impact, and that chunk reaches escape velocity, then it is quite possible that they can journey to other worlds.
