If U.S. creationists truly believe evolution is a religion, why don't they sue over it?

Actually it's the Rapture.

I know what it is. Given people have been predicting the end times for a couple of millennia, I don't put any stock in it.

It ain't happening in our lifetimes.

Do you consider it ignorant of me to ask a question, the answer to which you do not know, but I do?

See? The ignorance is so profound, my statement doesn't even make sense to you.

This seems to be all modern creationists have left: the hope for Armageddon.

Armageddon is where the NON-CHRISTIANS die. There are no Christians in the war at Har-Meggido. That is all YOU have to look forward to, not I. I know where I'll be during Armegeddon. I know what comes AFTER Armageddon. And I know where I'll be then too. You don't know any of these things.

Yes it is. It's EXACTLY the same thing. I quote God, Jesus Christ, and Bible ALL at the same time.
Once again that is just your belief. If you want to claim that it is true publicly you assume a large burden of proof.

Promises, promises. ^_^

(But really, this ain't happening in our lifetimes, I guarantee you that.)

I do not have a burden of proof. The Proof I have relieves me of all burdens.

Now you're trying to prophesy.

2 Peter 3:9
"The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is long suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."

This is why God has not returned. Because when He does, all the wicked will die. And God is not willing that any should perish. (2 Peter 3:8-10)

You say that, but your responses indicate otherwise.

My response is your evidence of the Proof I have. Do you want me to call God down out of Heaven? No. You don't. If you did, you would do it yourself. You don't want proof of God. You want to keep sinning in Darkness. You don't want the Light of God to shine upon you. That is why you don't go to God in prayer and receive your own "Proof" of God. You don't have proof of God because you don't want Him. I have proof of God because I went to Him in prayer. And He answered me and gave me this Proof, which I hold in this earthen vessel.

Nah, just going by precedent. People have been predicting the end times for a couple thousand years now and everyone has been wrong so far. I have no reason to think you are any different.

First, my response to you about ignorance had absolutely nothing to do with god, whatsoever.

Secondly, your statements just now are entirely off base. I would suggest that you simply ask me why I'm an atheist, but somehow I doubt it would do any good. You'd just revert to your asinine assumptions about why I disbelieve, as if all we atheists have the same rationale.

I do not have a burden of proof. The Proof I have relieves me of all burdens.

That is what a person that only has belief and does not know would say as a way to weasel out of supporting claims, and probably bogus ones at that. If you knew you could support your claims. If you knew you would not be afraid of the fact that you have a burden of proof.

It is fine to say that you believe something, but it is wrong to claim that you know when you only believe. If you had said "I believe" and left it at that I would not doubt you.

On a debate forum when a person claims something, as you have, you take on a burden of proof. Running away from that burden tells us all that we need to know about your unsupported claims.

No, we don't. We just want you to show us why we should accept your interpretation of scripture over all others.

You say "Show us your proof of God!" and then you say "No, we don't" want it. That's called Schizophrenia, a divided mind. My proof of God is also the One who explains to me the Scriptures. But you don't want the Proof God gives. So you don't get the answer to "WHY" either.

I believe in God and don't need any proof. But I certainly don't believe in God because of what you tell me it says in the Bible. No atheist is likely to begin to believe in God for that reason either.

I did not receive the Spirit of God from the Bible. I received it from Heaven, just as the Spirit came down out of Heaven in the form of a dove and rested on Jesus Christ.

Actually the term is "evidence" and not "proof". The Bible is not evidence. The Bible is the book that is in doubt. You can't rely on the Bible to prove the Bible especially since it gets quite a few claims wrong.
