Nick Zentner is a geology professor at Central Washington University. I often watch his videos and learn a lot of Pacific Northwest geology from him. In this video, only about 14 minutes long, Nick showcases the Frenchman Coulee in central Washington which was carved out by the Ice Floods some 12,000 years ago. The basalt the makes up the Coulee is about 16 Million years old and came from Eastern Oregon roughly 150 miles away.
