  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I had a fall last night. Don't know what happened - but I lost my balance and fell off my back steps (off my porch). I did not hit my belly or anything else - but did scrape the front of my leg down the concrete steps. The scrape is about 6 inches long and 1 inch wide - bled like crazy and all the skin is gone! I was crying like crazy. DH was not home and I had to get Natalie out of the truck and feed her dinner and deal with all of it.
Praise God nothing else happened - it could have been A LOT worse! :amen:

You might want to call your Dr. just in case. I read that any time you fall, you should be seen because the placenta can seperate from where it's supposed to be. I fell in my first pregnancy and didn't know this little fact but all was well. I've also read that the baby is WELL protected in there so there is no reason to worry. I think it depends on what you are reading at the time. LOL But still, it might not hurt to call the Dr. and make sure they don't want to check you out.

You might also want to get a chiropractic adjustment (if you're open to that). Many times when we fall, especially when we're pregnant, we can knock something out of alignment, which may show up right away... or wait until later and really cause problems. During pregnancy the muscles and ligaments are so softened that it's much easier to knock a segment out of alignment.

HTH~

Well, I wound up going to the ER yesterday because my ankle and foot got swollen. Turns out that I sprained my ankle. And there was an infection in the scratch. They would not give me crutches since I am pregnant and obviously clumsy. So I am off my feet (but at work). And on antibiotics for the infection, and they gave me a tetanus shot!!!
