How do we recognize this? Are you saying that everyone who believes the words of the bible and preaches them has life? Does everyone who doesn't believe or preach the words in the bible not have life? What is the way that someone such as yourself or the OP for example can recognize this spiritual life?

Essentially it comes down to accepting or rejecting the word of God, which is Jesus, but when you ask about recognizing life in others, we can't simply see a man on the street and discern whether or not he is a believer. Even in talking to him he could deceive me and even the preacher on a pulpit could be hiding behind his own ego. Truly only the father knows a man's heart.

It is why we should treat everyone with respect, as they should be treated as they are the image-bearers of God; and never should be look down on anyone or raise ourselves above someone else for the beliefs we have, which we have been given. Also, that very atheist we may talk to today at sometime may eventually possess the same belief we have.
It's funny that you say that because all the evidence suggests that the first and second laws of thermodynamics and the law of entropy can not be broken, which in itself disproves the big bang and evolution of life theory. Yet you choose to believe the scientists who claim that prior to the formation of life these laws did not apply, and that claim is based on no evidence at all.
So is it really the evidence that you follow, or the theories based on presuppositions?

I say this because I know in my own experience that I had once been against all Christian messages because I did not know the true nature of God. Once He showed me His nature, I came to love Him. All that happened after I had been baptised as a teenager. Was I dead all that time? As for yourself, if you walk with God and humble yourself and earnestly search for the truth, the holy spirit will reveal it to you, bit by bit, and when he does you will give thanks to the Lord and know that you have life.

According to the big bang theory the entire universe, including all its life and energy came out of nothing and since the universe is a closed system as there are no external forces acting upon it, my point stands.
The only reason the big bang theory has as much traction as it does, despite the fact that there are some serious issues with it, is because most scientists can't think of a more plausible scenario. I say "most" because the few who have come up with a more plausible scenario believe in intelligent design.

The issues are the limits to technology. The Big Bang has a lot of evidence. While an intelligent design does not. That is why people believe in the Big Bang Theory and not creationism.
People believe in the big bang theory because it is the most popular alternative to creationism, and if you believe in creationism you have to believe in a God and personal accountability. That scares people. It's easier to believe in the big bang.
