Shalom members of MJF,

The issue of my belief concerning the nature of HaShem as relates to the Niceane Creed/church's definition of the Trinity was recently challenged and more directly my fitness to be a mod based on my beliefs in this matter. I chose to go to Alpha/Erwin team and agreed to submit to their decision.

They have decided that due to my beliefs I am not qualified to remain on staff and I have been stepped down. You will see this take effect in my formal forum status in the next few days.

They did however, invite me to take on the Jewish icon so that I could continue to post in MJF. I explained to them that is impossible as I am NOT Jewish and I would not give that false impression, even to be able to remain on this forum. Thus, after Shabbat I will be requesting that my icon be changed to Other Religion.

At the moment, however, I am still a mod and as such request that this thread be kept a fellowship thread and does not become a debate thread - Please.

As to my belief: I believe Yeshua is HaShem. I believe HaAv and HaRuakh are as well. I *do not* believe they are 3 separate individual persons existing as "one g-dhead", as is the classical (and CF) position. Neither am I a modalist, although some continue to classify my belief that way.

Henaynei - okay I understand the part about stepping down from being a mod, but am unsure why you need to take on an icon other than messianic.

If that is what Erwin is enforcing then I'm afraid there won't be many left here in the messianic forum.

It is really quite simple:

CF says that the Nicene Creed supports the Trinity as defined as 3 individual persons (Father, Son, Spirit) who together are one god.

I believe that there is only One Individual, HaShem, who can and had presented Himself in many ways, the most notable being HaAv, HaBen and HaRuakh....

It has been ruled that according to Rule 6 those who want to post in the CO area, in which MJ is a forum, must agree with the Classical Trinitarian definition (as sketched above). It goes without saying that a mod must be able to post in the CO area, this is, after all, Christian Forums

The fact is that according to the CF definition of Rule 6 and the MJF I do not qualify to carry the MJ icon.

Since it has been decided that my beliefs are not in harmony with the CF interpretation of the Nicene Creed I do not qualify to post as MJ in this forum nor, therefore, do I qualify to be a mod.

I agree with your statements henayeni and I'm saddened that it has to come to this. At any rate there's quite a few of us here who frequent the non-christian religion section. Maybe they can make a section for us non-trinitarian/triune messianics.
