Anya, do not take being called ignorant in the context of this discussion as an insult, I don't see anyone using the term to insult but more of a description. Several have commented that we are all ignorant of things. I would like to have more education on the Bible so I am very ignorant of many things involving the subject. I want to know more about geology and biology and am working on learning more about them.

So please do not be offended by being called ignorant about evolution and the age of the earth as it is a simple fact that you do not have a lot of knowledge about these subjects.

If you started this thread to get clarification and learn, why would you then state you know what is true and what is a lie and there is no evidence for evolution. Sounds to me like you had your mind made up beforehand, as you continue to contradict yourself.

Because I have researched many hours on the links and fossils of skeletons scientists have found.

And what about the genetic evidence? Have you looked into that as well? It's pretty solid.

I am here to LEARN, not to be attacked. Anyway, I think you all ruined it for me, I don't know what happened today. It's tuesday and I don't know what I said wrong, but it's like everyone is against me for seeing the evolution timeline as silly.

No I haven't, I try my best with the twins and toddler that I have.

I'm not sure what you mean by that, but if you take a look at the genetic evidence (which clearly shows a nested hierarchy), then you will see that that, along with the fossil record and other avenues of corroboration, is why we keep telling you that the Theory of Evolution is almost "too big to fail". In other words, the evidence is so robust and compelling, evolution is probably as close to fact as one can get.

How can you learn anything if your mind is set.

As far as your OP, technological advances are not evolution. That's why it seems silly.

i mean I don't have formal time to study, I read here and there but to focus is hard. I have 3 kids, it's hard to learn everything at once, that's all.
