You are putting the body of Christ in the Great Tribulation.
Not a good idea.

Salvation is God on The Cross, not commandments being kept.

The verse says that God gave His Son to the "world", to as many as "believe".
That's the Cross of Christ.
Dont reject it, or God wont have you after you die.

Salvation is God coming here, as Christ, to receive the judgement for the sin of the World.
He did.
And this is offered so that YOU are not judged for YOUR SIN after you die.
Christ has been judged on earth, on The Cross, for all of your sin, so that you are not judged for it, after you die.

You get to choose that SALVATION by FAITH, or you get to chase commandments and die without it.

There has always been a remnant of God's church. It's not the most popular path though according to scriptures and the bible clearly tells us the characteristics of God's church:

"chosen" is to be born again.

Many are called..... This is John 3:16.

But will everyone believe?
The "chosen" ...the context is......God on the Cross, and will you come and become one of the Chosen.

We no longer obey because it's a commandment, we obey God because of our love for Him. When we walk with God's Spirit we are going to want to obey God's Words. This is an invitation to everyone, Jesus came to save everyone, but people put their will over our Creator and Savior.

Probably every fringe group started by a single individual in the 19th century makes this claim.

Pretty much so it seems you did get my point! I have a mistrust, based on personal experience, of anyone who claims they are saved and the majority aren't. I don't see any difference psychologically between that and people who join a club and the more exclusive it is the grander they feel.
